Fun little tower defense game. I remember playing it when it still was a free flash game on the internet. Steam version has some stuff added to it, like more levels.
I recommend to buy it because that way you'll support the developer :)

EDIT: as of the newest DLC game starts to be at recommendable state.
I'll recommend to buy all the major DLC.


I played Civ V over 500hrs and after playing VI for roughly 50hrs I can safely say that I’m not going back to V. And by playing I must say that majority (~90%) of my playtime has been against other players in multiplayer. I feel Civ V propably has a better singleplayer experience.
While I think VI is overall a better game it still has its flaws and In some areas Civ V was better, but in my opinion the positives outweight the negatives - not by much though. And to be clear, now I’m comparing Civ V + all DLCs vs vanilla CIV VI, vanilla Civ V wasn’t nearly as good of a game and initially when it launched multiplayer was almost unplayable.
Like Civ V, I think this game also needs some overhauling before I can say it's a masterpiece. Official multiplayer mod support may help with that. AI is as stupid as it was in civilization V when it comes to combat and all that and when it comes to diplomacy I feel like it's even more stupid - but fortunately multiplayer is working almost perfectly unlike in Civ V-launch where it was a disaster.

Some things to improve:

• Wonder completion animations won’t show in multiplayer.
  
• More tooltips / more informative UI needed in general
  - adjacency bonuses should read on city view tooltips
  - civilopedia should be in main menu
  - when you can’t do something there should be clear message stating why you can’t – missing technology etc.
  - a lot of Civ V multiplayer options are not there such as amount of citystates etc.
  - options menu is also lacking, fortunately you can change off annyoing things like autounitcycle from text files located in game directory.
  - later in the game districts are hard to tell apart. Some indication would be nice.
  - if I remember correctly you can't tell if a tile is improved or not from tooltips, so this has caused some confusion as well
  
• AI needs much work before it can be taken seriously. Diplomacy between AI’s is almost non-existent. World Congress is missing.
  
• When you load a game in multiplayer you can see all the civilizations what other players are playing with - this is painful when playing epic multiplayer games with random leaders. But this was also issue in Civ V.
  
• Tooltips in world map appear delayed when you hover over something, and the delay takes too long - on several occasions I've found myself to wait them pop out but fortunately if you hold down the shift key you get them instantly.

EDIT: Digital deluxe edition pre-order pricing is on the borderline of actually breaking consumer laws. It almost didn't even save me any money, even though that was promised. This is 2K's fault.
As for the game itself, I am not playing until the next big DLC. Game is still not complete as I stated in my previous review, and therefore I must change my positive rating to a negative one.

Insurgency is somewhere between Counter Strike and Arma. For true hardcore military sim fans, I recommend to buy Arma instead of Insurgency. Insurgency has some perks though; games are quick, easy to get in to. Better controls. Overall smoother experience.

If you like fps-games in general like me, you will probably like Insurgency as well. It's pretty solid option.

As for gameplay Torchlight 2 is a solid option for Diablo / Path of Exile. I can recommend to anyone who likes the genre. Story and atmosphere has a lighter touch.

Controls are usually OK but sometimes awful - especially when in combat my character died more than once because he/she did something I did not want him/her to do. Really frustrating because of permadeath.

As for atmosphere - it's good. Not great but good. Nice ambient music with beautiful graphics. Offers some insight to what it feels to be a civilian in war. From trailers I got the impression that it would be really emotionally moving experience, but good atmosphere was pretty much all I got.

It took me around ten hours to complete the game on my second run, and I really saw no potential in replaying. Also it should be noted that the second run became very boring in the end. The amount of content is fairly limited.

So, This war of mine had good atmosphere and it was enjoyable experience, eventhough I feel it lacks content for it's price. Usually I tend to rate emotional experiences pretty high in games, when compared to pure gameplay. Therefore I can recommend this game, but just barely. If you can get it for heavy discount - which by the way is pretty common - then I can safely recommend to buy it.

Simple bridge constructing game with mobile game UI and bad physics. Offers entertainment for approx. two hours, and with its price at (9€) I can't really recommend it. If you insist on buying a bridge construction game, I would recommend buying Poly Bridge instead. (12€ atm)

Solid buy, and you can get it for very cheap - although I would recommend paying the full price because its developers definitely deserve that. Good intense action in singleplayer and even better with friends in co-op. I remember having slight issues in multiplayer but it was so fun and addicting nevertheless that it didn't matter.

Standard linear fps gameplay with excellent story and atmosphere. Definitely recommended if you like fps games at all.

There are still many promised features missing. And it's been 4 years.

In multiplayer clipping through the world is very common. The little amount I tried single player I found that gameplay is so repeative and easy that it becomes boring really quickly. If I were to put a price on it based on it's entertainment value, I'd put 3$ at max. 20$ is just plain scam. But I can't make myself to recommend it, even if one would get it for free.
