A genre that is definitely an acquired taste, Monster Hunter is a action-filled game with many different creature s to, well, hunt! Monster Hunter World is the newest edition to the Monster Hunter series, featuring many monsters from the old games, while also having many new monsters to fight as well.

Some key aspects of the game that I enjoyed include amazing visuals and fluid, yet responsive gameplay.
From the smallest of threats to the biggest of behemoths, all the monsters feature unique and intense fights.

This game, and those before it, features a nice line-up of weapons to use, all with their own set of moves.
You can also use any weapon you'd like and switch without having to start over.

Some things that could use improvements is definitely the fairness of some monster attacks. Most attacks follow a guideline; weak but fast attacks, or slow but hard-hitting attacks. However, there are a couple of notable moves that are just too unfair and/or break that rule.

Another concern is the server stability. It has improved from the beginning of game, but there are a few problem that can still arise, especially during events and particular quests. This only really matters for multiplayer, but for some quests, multiplayer is basically mandatory.

All in all, Monster Hunter World is an amazing game which definitely is worth the price.
This game also has an equally as good expansion, Iceborne, which is definitely also worth its price.
