After playing the Alpha earlier this year i wrote this game off, it looked terrible, played terrible, and they got rid of all the cosmetics we loved, but playing again now my opinion completely changed.

Smite 2 is hands down much better than the first game
- Visuals are greatly improved
- Game feels much smoother and many abilities are less clunky than in 1
- The new tech introduced looks very promising and new gods like Aladdin really showcase what the dev team can do now in smite 2
- Many gods have a new system called aspects which give an optional rework of one or two abilities that make the god play differently and feel fresh
- The item shop is much better and any god can build any item leading to more build diversity
- Most gods have gotten good QOL updates to their kits
- The ingame map has fun additions that make the game just play better

Now is the time to jump in and see if the game is for you, Hi-Rez has been working very hard and it shows.

TLDR: Game is much better than smite 1 in many ways, highly recommend playing if you like the 1st game or are interested in a new ftp game to check out.
