Pros:
- Really polished game despite free to play modality
- Crisp Audio design
- Better than Battlefield
- Lots of options to choose from in terms of weapons, class operators and customization
- Operations mode is the PvPvE extraction mode and plays really well with great level design as compared to tarkov, coupled with the robust fun gameplay of Delta Force (It's literally free tarkov!!!)
- Quests/Challenges are not ridiculous that you see teammates doing crazy stunts just to fulfill challenges and still certain challenges even force players to play by their roles
- Minimalistic UI, not too cluttered despite everything going on
- Gunplay is really really robust and you get to play the gunsmith customizing your gun-build to suit your needs
- Has the AKM rifle and it sounds so mmmmm~

Cons:
- Lots of Bots
- Lots of cheaters
- Class system suffers from the same issue as battlefield where people refuse to work as a squad, medic, roles or work as a team
- Certain level design gets too cramped and becomes a massive spam firefight similar to BF

Opinion:
As a free to play game, you really aren't even losing out in anything other than your time if you try out Delta Force. This is a fun half arcade half "attempting to be realistic" shooter that imitates the good parts of Battlefield and Tarkov. At it's present state (Dec 2024) early access it is really highly polished and almost at a level of release that it is attracting so many shooter gamers in.

In Warfare mode, you get to play the Battlefield aspect of Delta Force in different game modes to contest the map via capture points and a ticket system. With a host of different tactical equipment utilize different methods to hit the capture points as most level design allows for mutliple paths to a capture point. You also get the choice to either call in vehicles either via spawn or your points as a air drop vehicle! (although most of the gameplay doesn't really revolve around tanks/vehicles so you won't be seeing as much of it as battlefield)

Certain buildings are also moderately destructible as you pound in explosives after explosives opening up new ways to tackle a well fortified enemy. However not everything is destructible which really gives it a confusing vibe when you attempt to do so in certain maps, if Delta Force could emulate 'The Finals' in terms of destructible buildings it would definitely add a new element or dimension to tackling objectives.

The bad part about warfare mode is that it is increasingly getting riddled with cheaters. The game hasn't reach a point of meltdown like battlefield where cheaters are doing it obnoxiously obvious but you will get subtle cheaters that shoot out of their butts whilst sprinting away/looking away from you, cheaters who can shoot through an indestructible building or cliff (keep in mind that bullet penetration through clutter is not even implemented in the game). It does get annoying at times as kill ping(?) is present in game where it highlights the enemy location who killed you which does prevent camping but may show you and taunt you how cheaters are getting you at impossible angles.
This is the unfortunate part in this day and age where a game is a shooter, free to play and a PVP game which is the holy trinity of breeding ground for cheaters.

The 2nd part that is present in the game is Operations which is the PvPvE extraction mode has maps that aren't overly huge like in other extraction games which allows players to effectively put in 20-30mins of their day to each session. I find this alot more refreshing as the sunken cost isn't as painful when you do die and fail an extraction, you can easily go in and succeed another session within 20minutes.

Bullet and gun loot is quite plentiful which allows players who have fallen alot of times to recuperate as well as the gear ticket system where the game provides free loot for people who may have died and bounce back with free gear to play again which does help re-motivate players. Weak or unmodified guns aren't totally useless either like in games like Tarkov where armor becomes totally invincible against even the weakest ammo so it does allow newbies and people who lost everything to rise up again if they do get lucky or adopt better playing techniques.

My only feedback for this mode could be random "world events" in order to make it a more unique experience as opposed to other PvPvE extraction shooters. This will definitely add more surprises and wow moments, imagine like an invasion of NPC shooters where it breaks into a huge cinematic firefight or world events that just provide a really aesthetic vista of maybe a nuke happening in the background and turning the weather into nuclear winter. Things that will break the monotony of immediately engaging an enemy player team, maybe force people to think if they should temporarily group up against a world event to open up extraction points or be the extra knife in the back against the heroes stopping the world event.

Reviewing as a semi-casual player who now just wants fun more than crazy difficulty/challenges.

Sifu may seem short but its gameplay mechanics is what stretches the gameplay out longer, other than the story mode, the challenges arenas are what really prolongs this game and its intricate and fun gameplay. New game+ exists via the previously mentioned arena/challenges as well as changing or modifying your martial arts moveset as well.

Combat or gameplay itself is simple yet complex at the same time. You get a few set moves that can trigger different things like knocking down an opponent, pushing them further or just generally doing a half dodge and immediate strike.
- Learning enemy move set matters
- Parry timing matters
- Positioning around mulitple enemies matters
All of these merges into a blend of multiple variance whch makes every fight different

Environments are also really well done and differentiates themselves apart, Soundtracks honestly in my opinion could be more hyped but mostly takes a sombre slow tone to follow its story mode I guess, although the club portions start to ramp up.

Overall, worth the cash even at full price now taking into account how most triple A games have inflated to a average $79-$99. Especially if you are looking for a challenging skill based martial arts game which honestly there aren't many martial arts games out there at all.
