Dune – A Worthy Return to a Familiar Universe

For me, the Dune universe is the perfect setting — atmospheric, politically complex, and full of mystery. Alongside Civilization, Dune was one of the very first "real" computer games I ever played — though I’m not sure if it was the original Dune or Dune II. Either way, the RTS spirit has stayed with me ever since, and the sandworm still feels like a godlike force of nature breaking into the system.

As for the current game: I highly recommend starting in single-player mode if you want to really understand and experience the world. However, if you're looking for quick progress or an easier time, a guild becomes almost essential — especially in the endgame. The final tier of resources is nearly impossible to farm solo. It requires a huge amount of spice, which can only be harvested efficiently in the Deep Desert — and for that, you need vehicles like harvesters and transport units that aren't usable in single-player. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any Atreides guilds on my server.

I picked my server more or less randomly, since my preferred ones were full at launch. In the end, I even had to found my own guild because no one responded to my invites.

Despite my initial doubts about the alternate-universe approach, I have to say the execution is very well done. I wouldn’t have minded a version set in the original universe, but what they've built here actually works surprisingly well.

Conclusion: A well-crafted, atmospheric, and strategically rich game that any Dune fan should definitely try — whether solo or with a guild.

As someone who has known and enjoyed "Starship Troopers" for a long time, I had hoped this game would capture the essence and excitement of the world I love. Unfortunately, this was a bad decision. The game feels like a poorly executed project, far from the quality and depth one would expect from a "Starship Troopers" title. It lacks the atmosphere, engagement, and immersive experience...

This is definitely not a 1.0 experience. For long-time fans like me, this game is a major letdown and not worth the investment.

Great successor, brings back the old feelings – love it! Not many missions, but they feel longer (1h) compared to today’s 15-30 minute rounds. 0 bugs so far for me.

Cities Skylines 2 is finally here, and I can honestly say I was eagerly awaiting this game as if it were the long-anticipated GTA 6. The excitement was immense, and when it finally released, my enthusiasm was unstoppable. This game is an absolute must-have for anyone who enjoys showcasing their city-building skills. So, shut up and take my money!

The developers made the bold decision to release the game despite initial performance issues, and I must say I wholeheartedly support this choice. I'd rather play it now with minor difficulties than wait longer for this masterpiece. Undoubtedly, there will be numerous updates in the coming weeks and months to further improve performance and the overall gaming experience.

Cities Skylines 2 met and even exceeded my high expectations. I can't wait to spend more time creating my dream city and watching it thrive. This game is a real gem for all city-building enthusiasts out there, and I'm confident it will provide us with many hours of enjoyment in the years to come.

i am disappointed, the 2nd part got more love in the singleplayer. unique missions.
the campaign map idea is very good but still lacks uniqueness (there is uniqueness but the majority is procrastination). campaign is over just when you think the finale is coming.
I can't rate multiplayer, co-op is too easy / "only" hard.
I don't currently play vs players, it's pure mathematics.
too easy or too hard. (a dynamic balance would be innovative here)

i would have liked more engine state of the art (no relict :p) with more cinematic effects where like in dawn of war 3 heroes somehow come into focus.
give heroes to the losing parties.... to turn the tide... and as soon as the +x% balance is achieved... the hero dies...

this does not have to be infinite... but somehow the games are too short... (unbalanced and without chance)

it's like tiger tank... you don't get one, game ends before. but i want my tiger, with a crew with name and character.
kaylee keeps the tiger running. inara is seen naked on it and gina is on the mg.

i love the guardians, the music is good but it's too linear for me. (i played it to experience more of guardians).
if you can handle linear it is a recommendation.

emotional and captivating journey, fits very well with the current situation.
the beginning is a bit bad if you don't know the characters yet... you make the wrong decisions anyway. (you choose differently in the second round)

play it like a role play.
