it's really freaking good if you don't get vr motion sickness. it's fairly uncompromising in retaining the gameplay of half-life 2 while offering optional features aimed at immersion as well as options for vr comfort. I played it without any of the comfort options or immersive options and had a far better time with it than I ever did with half-life alyx.
