Well for starters csgo is a modified version of the good ol hl2 engine, so programmers who are coders from a while back also has experience on what the engine is like and is really sometimes their part time hobby.

CSGO is also free… The cons of course would mean that new players would always encounters cheaters, and it would be never ending.

But in the long term, good ol trust factor will save the day, some say its not fair, but in reality csgo has quite the skill curve, short term players often won't mind as they would leave soon. Trust factor rewards the committed and loyal players who take their time to work and work up their skills and factor. Everyone else who messes around or trolls or is toxic in competitive will have a low trust factor often ruining each others lives instead of people's who dont deserve it.

Another thing VAC Always wins either it takes 2 years, 1 day, 5 months, Everyone eventually gets banned. With the new VAC learning what in theory should work. Sure sometimes it seems to be not working but it's mostly in mass waves and bans, they flag the cheater account to falsify the idea the cheat is not detected and use that as a template to catch other cheaters then suddenly banning. And sorry for drifting the topic of deep learning, they're trying to make it so vac can rapidly learn what a cheat is or not.

Sure you xan play other games and say their are no cheaters but in reality all games do have cheaters and probably the same amount too. Just depends on what type of game. In csgo itd very competitive but also very easy to spot a cheater due to the expectations of a experienced player would see but also that each player would try to explain how people are better than them are cheating.

There is also overwatch no need to get into detail but community helping spot cheaters.

Also final word as an advice. There will always be someone better than you in csgo, Always! So dont assume going around thinking they're cheating chances are they might be. Or smurfing either or. Remember you always win in the end either it be VAC ban or 1 overwatch ban.
