A mobile fighting game that is poorly ported to PC. It 'feels' good when you actually fight, but being forced through a series of dialogs and multiple fights before you can even open the settings menu feels bad. On top of that, the controls don't feel great on a controller. It's clearly a touch-screen fighter with a bajillion currencies and constant unlocks crowding the screen.

If you can't stand the sound of deer calling out in the forest, be assured you will soon be able to craft a bow and take care of them.

Ya know what? It ain't bad. Just enough of a pull to keep you coming back for more without the need to actually buy the microtransactions.

FoxyLand 2 is a charming little platformer that surprised me with it's quality. Levels are short, but there are hidden items to find in each, so you will revisit levels a few times to find them all. Controls felt nice and tight and most of my deaths were entirely my fault...which is a good thing in a platformer.

People know I play a lot of Battle Royale games so it says a lot when I keep coming back to this one. It's my favourite, by far, overhead / isometric Battle Royale. It leaves the competition in the dust with its developer support and polish. This game oozes charm and is just, overall, a very competent game.

Great little game. Reminded me a lot of La Mulana (to a degree), VVVVVV (to a degree), Knytt Underground (to a degree). Simple platformer with some nice mechanics that lead to a game that you play 'screen by screen'. Each screen provides a puzzle to beat. These puzzles are usually fairly straightforward and I only had a couple of screens that gave me trouble (but which were very easy once the solution hit).

Takes as little as 20 minutes to beat (there's an achievement), but expect about 60-90 minutes if you start hunting down the hidden areas / achievements.

I don't know what it is about this series that draws me in. It has some puzzle elements, some memory game elements, some economic simulation elements, some hidden object elements, and some story. It also has the very important: "Just one more click" element that every successful game has.

Highly recommended.

If you at all like rail simulations or had a model rail set when you were a kid, you'll really enjoy this game. Plenty of scenarios and trains in the default pack, so don't be scared by all the extra DLC this game has.
