First of all, to be clear, Koikatsu Party is technically not a game. It's more of a waifu creator and simulator, where you can create whatever female characters you want, and errr, have "fun" with them. It is from Illusion, which some of you may know, is a Japanese eroge game company, so you know where the "fun" is going, since this game is labelled "Adults Only". Then again, I think you will know it already, if you do stumble onto this product, whether by "accident" or on purpose.

Anyway, back to Koikatsu Party, you can design male and female characters in this game. There are a LOT of settings for the female and male anatomy, from head size, torso size, waist size, hair colour.... all the way to nipple and pubic hair settings. You can also set their traits, from being innocent to being some kind of cougar, depending on how you want them to be. You design your waifu or husbando (let's face it, there would be very few people doing the latter), once you are done with it you can save them as a template for uploading to the Internet, or for offline use. You can also download character templates online too.

Gameplay, if you call it, consists of two parts. One is the concert mode, where the character you designed or downloaded will dance like an idol in a concert, or the second part, which I know many of you pervs will do (like me), is the "fun" mode. Here you can choose a normal "relationship", self pleasuring and yuri "relationship". You can select whatever characters you designed here, set the environment and have some "fun". Depending on position, you can go for various "fun" position, whether its an insertion, oral activity or other activity you may desire, where there are meters for both the male and female, in terms of how much "fun" they are having.

I have to say, the character creation for the body is very, very detailed. You can set many things you want here, from beauty marks, tan line, eye shape and so on, the list goes on. Being an adult game, I am sure pervs will enjoy the "fun" section. However, while the body creation is very detailed, unfortunately, there's not much in the clothing customization, so that part is quite limited. And being a simulator, having "fun" is pretty much the only viable game mode with interaction, as concert mode is basically just watching the girl dance. The game is also very pricey unfortunately, not really worth its cost at the moment, due to the lack of stuffs you can do overall.

Overall, if you are into character creation for waifus, or you want to have some "fun" with your waifu, go ahead, give this game a shot, if you don't mind its price. Again, as this is an adult game, don't play the "fun" section when your family is around.

I would give this a 5.0/10. Nothing much here, mostly eye candy, but I do enjoy the character creation though.

Fate Extella is a hack and slash musou game, where you get to use characters from the Fate universe. Each characters have their own stories, where 3 of the stories covers the main storyline for the entire game. Objective in this game is very simple; capture enough areas (call sectors here) so that the balance of power falls onto your side (which is termed in-game as 'completing the Regalia matrix', and then face the boss. Sometimes you will start with facing the boss right off the bat. There are some variation here and there, but generally, you will win if you beat the boss.

You get to use characters that previously appeared in Fate/ stay night, like Saber, Archer, Lancer etc, along servants from the mobile game Fate/ Grand Order and new comers to the Fate series. Each of them have a different combo tree and style variation. To enhance them you, as the Master, will use Mystic Codes, which allows the usage of Code Casts that can be used offensively or defensively, and Install Skills, which will help boost the Servant's stats. Generally you will unlock them as you play the game, with up to 6 Install Skills that can be installed at max. Install Skills also have a set circuit layout, which differ among Servants, so if you match the skills in the right layout, you will get an additional bonus stats from it.

Story-wise, its basically taking place after Fate/ Extra, with you as Hakuno(n) Kishigami winning the competition in Fate/ Extra. As mentioned earlier, the main character stories covers the plot for Fate/ Extella, which unlock progressively as you complete the storyline for a main character. As you complete the story for the main character, stories for the other characters that are aligned to that main character will be unlocked as well. So if you want to play everyone's stories, you have to play through all of the main characters' stories.

This game is pretty much filled with Fate lore, and it tells what happens after Fate/ Extra. Besides that, gameplay is simple enough to pick up, along with stuffs that will please fans of the Fate series such as the presence of Noble Phantasms like Unlimited Blade Work, Enuma Elish, Excalibur, Gae Bolg and so on. One of the main character's story is really fleshed out here, since its her character debut here and also explains what is exactly going on nicely.

As for the bad... oh boy. There's a reason why this game is infamously known for praising a certain character too much, as she appears in the storyline too often, so instead of having 3 main characters, you have one main character who hogs the entire spotlight, while the other two just have a small moment of sparkle. Character stories being locked based on progression, while needed for plot purposes, is quite annoying. Gameplay is very repetitive, with using pretty much a small map rotation for all of the scenario. Chraracter models also appear very plastic, much more plastic than games like Neptunia or Senran Kagura. This game is purely single player, hence no multiplayer, though there is a free play mode where you can play any other scenarios with any characters that you want.

Overall, as a Fate fan, I do like it, since its mainly being targeted for them. And no, there's no adult content here, unlike the original Fate/ stay night visual novel. I would recommend it if you like the Fate genre or if you are looking for a very simple musou game with a decent storyline, or if you just bought Fate/ Extella Link and want to know what happened before it, since its the prequel to it.

With that, I give this game a 6.4/10, with plenty of umus and mikons to go around.

School Girl Zombie Hunter is a game where you use high school girls to, well, kill zombies, as per its title suggest. Basically you can choose from 5 girls, with each girls having their own specialities. For example, Sayuri is basically the team nurse as she is able to revive a downed teammate without having to use a revive item. You can equip up to 5 weapons, which can be either a combination of pistols, SMGs, rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns or the rocket launcher. Whenever you take damage, your clothing tears, like in Senran Kagura, up to the point where you are running in your underwear only. Alternatively, you can toss off your clothes to lure zombies, but beware, not all zombies are attracted to it. Huzzah for fanservice!

Story-wise, its pretty straightforward and linear. Basically all the school girls must survive and eradicate the zombie horde in their own high school. Most of the missions are pretty much kill everything or the boss, though there are several other types of missions such as survival, item collection or getting to a particular point as the measure of victory. When zombies are killed, they can drop items, such as grenades, trapwires to cut limbs, health items and unidentified weapons, which will be identified when a mission is completed. There is a particular item you can unlock, though it needs to reach a certain point in the story before it is unlocked, and the method of obtaining it, well... let's just say, you have to be a Peeping Tom for that. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Perks wise, well, fanservice are plenty in this game, with pantsu shots, or just looking at high school girls in undies. Besides that, the gameplay is pretty simple, most of the time, which is shoot everything until they die. Achievement completion is pretty fast as well, since most of them aren't that hard to obtain. Weapon choices for guns are quite plenty as well, allowing you to choose the combination of weapons to be used for each characters.

That said, I really wish this game had a gallery, like Oneechanbara. The only gallery we have is the profile mode, which is practically the loadout of each girls. Mobs tend to ninja attack at the moment they spawn, if you are right on top of them, which is quite annoying. Some missions may be frustrating for first timers, especially destination missions, since there will be random obstacles and blocked off paths when trying out several paths. Story wise, its super short, which can be completed in less than 5 hours. Furthermore, some achivements requires a replay of the entire story at a different difficulty, which may be quite boring for some. Some models have really stiff hairs, especially with Risa and Rei, where their hair is super rigid.

Overall, I had fun playing this game. If you really want to play Gakkou Gurashi: The Fanservice Edition, look no more, this game is for you. However I only would recommend it when it's on sales, otherwise, cheaper alternative like a modded L4D2 will suffice to satisfy your high school girls zombie experience.

6.1/10. Not bad, but kinda short.

Earth Defense Force, or also commonly known as EDF, is a game where you shoots countless aliens and robots. Think of it like a B-grade sci-fi movie with a Serious Sam-like horde that just never ends. You just need to know one thing: shoot anything and everything, regardless of whether they are human or not. In this game, you can select 4 classes, which are the specialist Air Raider, everyday soldier Ranger, heavy armored Fencer and the ridiculously dressed armored but agile Wing Diver. Each of them have their own dedicated types of weapons, which are useful for certain situations. You just pick your weapon layout, or for the Air Raider case, you can pick your own vehicles. Do note while Air Raiders are the only class that can summon a vehicle or a mech, a Ranger can technically operate an empty vehicle summoned by the Air Raider. Only the Wing Diver and Fencer can't do so, though they can ride in a vehicle (there's an exception to this rule but its for a very specific mech).

As mentioned, the gameplay is either one of the following: kill everything, or survive until a particular checkpoint, with the former being the most common scenario for victory. The missions take place in many types of maps, though some maps are being reused for several missions. In those maps, you will fight many things, from giant insects, flying alien ships, giant robots, to even bigger giant insects, dragons, 300 feet tall robots, or Godzilla's long lost cousin. Each missions have their own difficulties, from Easy being, well the easiest difficulty, all the way to Inferno, where mobs pretty much one shot you unless you have tons of HP, and the entire screen is practically covered with enemies and enemy projectiles. When you kill an enemy, they drop items like health packs, armor and weapon crates, which you can get new weapons from and increase your HP when you complete that mission. This game also has a split screen co-op and online co-op mode, where you can play with your friend and kill giant aliens.

What I find fun about this game, is that, it just hilarious to play it and doesn't take itself seriously. You have a weird monster expert who, for some reason, becoming the EDF's main monster expert simply by spewing random monster nonsense. You also can just blow everything up, and I do mean everything, which includes your enemies, buildings, your allies and yourself. In short, you can just turn off your brain, immerse yourself in the randomness and chaotic battlefield of an EDF warrior, and just have fun. Enemy counts sometimes goes through the roof, so it's quite fun playing in an insanely outnumbered situation, trying to scrape through for survival. Bonus goes to the Wing Diver's bikini armor, which for some reason, only females can use it. Heh. Special shoutout to the ridiculous options in chat shortcuts, where its mostly singing the EDF theme song, or just shouting "EDF!" nonstop.

The game's main strength is also its greatest weak point. As mentioned, it's a game where you shoot everything. Some people may find this a tad repetitive, as its the same thing for pretty much every mission. On higher difficulties, its not possible to complete with a low amount of HP due to the damage that a simple goon can do, along with the bullet hell like situation that you may encountered when being severely outnumbered. Gameplay is pretty grindy as you have to collect tons and tons of armor to get enough HP to do the higher difficulties, especially on Inferno difficulty, where you need at least 4 digits or 5 digits worth of HP to even begin doing it.

Furthermore, when you die, all of your collected weapons and armor points you obtained in that mission are gone, thus missing out potential new weapons that can actually help for that mission. Lastly, online mode and offline mode mission progressions are separate, thus you have to do everything again to unlock the mission progression there. Furthermore, for certain difficulties, some missions are soft locked by requiring a minimum amount of HP to actually play it and it has a level limit for weapons (though this is negated once you have 70% completion over there). The only thing you can carry over here is your character HP and your weapon progression.

Overall, I like this game. It's just pure mindless fun, shooting at everything and anything. If you are into these type of games where you like shooting at countless giant aliens and if you don't mind the relatively grindy progress, you can go ahead and get it when it's on sale. A special note for the DLCs, its even harder than the main game itself, due to the insane situations they put you in, and some mobs there are just plain ridiculous (e.g. the one shotters Gold Ants, or the ridiculously beefy Silver Spiders/ Silver Kings).

7.4/10. THE EDF DEPLOYS!

Kritika Online is a hack and slash MMO, where the fights are dungeon instance based. You get to select several characters, each with their own skill set and mechanics, and kill mobs and bosses in dungeons. Currently there are 6 characters that are available, with another 2 more on the way. Among the classes, they can have their own specialization focuses, where they will get skills that are exclusive to that class, with the exception of the Psion, which have no sub class focus. In this game, you get to chain skills and auto attacks to create juggles and combos, though some juggles may not work on certain bosses.

Item drops in dungeons consists or armor, weapons, crafting materials and consumables. They are graded from inferior to legendary qualities. The dungeon difficulties can be set from Easy to Insane, where in Easy mobs are practically passive with the least amount of drops, all the way to Insane, where drops may be more (by a very small margin), and the mobs and bosses hit super hard, that don't be surprised if you get two shotted by a random mob. There are certain dungeons, which can be classified as a raid boss dungeons, or known in game as the ultimate danger zone, where unless you are stacked to the max, generally you need a party to clear it, though the rewards for it is much greater than the others.

As a former Rusty Hearts player (RIP RH), combat is pretty much similar and fluid, making combo chains and juggles quite fun and rewarding to pull off. Besides that character models looks quite fun to look at, as I kind of like the anime art style. Skill sets and play mechanics are quite interesting and different among classes and focuses. For example, my main the Psion have a passive which allow her to use another attack that is "generated" from doing a particular skill, as that skill will leave behind a sword for her to use, which is not present in other classes.

However, the biggest flaw I faced in this game, not counting the long journey for gear farming, stats raising and perfect stats roll, is the damn login procedure. As someone from SEA, high latency is expected, but I don't get why 75% of my login ends with a "Error retrieving server list", which forces me to do either a router reboot or adapter reboot to solve this issue. The end game grind for stats maxing is really, really, really long. New players have to catch up with them whales or players who have played since day 1. To give an example, badges can be used to raise your stats, while getting a complete stack of inferior badges only require 270 badges, the best badges stack required a grand total of 29160 badges, and you can only farm 60 badges per week on a character if you are relying on daily quests only.

As I mentioned, on the later levels, bosses have their own mechanics and they hit super hard. To top it off, if you fail to counter that mechanic or negate it, the damage done from there is astoundingly high, which is pretty much a guaranteed one shot unless your survivalbility is very high. This may not be a problem, but it can get frustratingly annoying at time to get one shotted just because you didn't managed to get your i-frame move ready at that time, which is the only way to negate some of those mechanics. The raid dungeons, while having "great" rewards, can only be done only a few times per week (5 for Shattered Table and 2 for Abelard or Titan dungeons). "Great" reward here because the best weapon from Abelard has a insanely low drop rate to compensate for its insane stats. Some bosses also have scripted moves, which even with an interrupt skill that can stun or have Ultra Break properties, will still be performed completely, which makes the effect completely useless, since they will either position themselves during the move such that you can't hit them, or they just get i-frame while doing it.

Overall, even so, I really enjoyed this game, it reminded me of the old Rusty Hearts day, before a particular company shut it down after a long period of mismanagement. If you want to try some random hack and slash MMO with a anime-ish graphic and combo mechanics, you can give this game a shot. It's not bad, though for stats maxing and perfect gear farming, it will take an extremely long time to get to that level.

6.5/10 from me. Fun game for me.

Edit: Do note the game is now published under All M, which is the actual developer for this game. My review was for the version published En Masse, so there may be some differences in versions.

Further edit: Playing the All M one, I daresay that its actually worse than the En Masse one. The grindiness got upped ridiculously, with ridiculous stat gates.

Early Access Review
Mirror is a puzzle game, where you match 3 or more gems in a row, similar to Huniepop in a way. While I did mentioned in my review of Huniepop that it's basically Bejeweled with sex, well guess what? This game is like Bejeweled, but with even more sex and sexual activities. In fact, its practically an eroge disguised as a puzzle game. Anyway, like Huniepop, this game has several types of gems, which will inflict damage or heals yourself, depending on the type of gems matched. If you match 4 similar gems, you will get a powered up version of the said gem, that can provide an additional ability, such as more damage, reduce enemy defense and damage, remove gems that were debuffed and so on. Matching 5 similar gems horizontally or vertically will net you a diamond gem, which can be exploded anytime to inflict a massive damage onto your opponent.

Speaking of opponents, basically you face a girl, where everytime you beat them, you will increase their affection meter. Usually before each encounter, there will be some dialogues and options, where depending on the options selected, you can either weaken or strengthen the girl, making your fight either easier or harder. Everytime you beat them, the match against them becomes harder until you beat them 4 times. At certain levels, they will unlock the use of certain special gems, which they didn't use in the previous fight, though if you beat them 4 times already, they can use them anytime. Basically you need to beat them at least 3 times to get the.... special scenes, where you can do whatever you want onto them (and I do mean whatever, since they are at your mercy), followed by some CG on their endings or so. Usually most of the time, they will be lewded massively ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Everytime you complete a match, you get come in game currency to add more skills to your arsenal, along with items that can help you in a match, or improving the effects of matching a certain type of gems. The costs of it increases, depending on the tier of the item, skills or stats effects.

This game is pretty much dirt cheap, similar to Hell Girls. Besides that, for a cheap game, I was surprised it has voiceovers during the cutscenes, fights and... happy hour moments as well. The gameplay is pretty interesting as some girl may me more resistant to a certain type of gem, while certain skills play a huge role in taking down a girl. Fanservice, well, as I did mentioned, this is a eroge game with puzzle elements, so of course there will be tons. Despite that, firstly this game is still in early access, thus only 3 girls are available to unlock. I find some scenes oddly not voiced for some reason, but its pretty minor, along with some typos. However, I kinda squim over a particular girl's cutscenes, since it's a bit guro-ish for me. Sometimes, the puzzle may get stuck, as you won't get to do anything, as the blocks never fall down fully, forcing you to quit the battle and restart the fight again. Finally, if you are not a fan of censorship, you may not enjoy the censored cutscenes with a weird rabbit blocking them genitalias and flowers blocking the nipples, though there is an uncensored patch mod to remove them. Dark elf girl is the best, by the way. :p

Overall, if you enjoy an extreme amount of eroge elements, and puzzle elements, you may give this game a shot, if you have a buck or two to spare. Just be warned, do not play it with anyone around at any course, because its practically 50% eroge. You don't want people to see you touching a naked woman nor hearing them sexual moans and groans, or just a naked woman outright.

5,4/10. Not so bad for a puzzle game, though since its in early access, many other girls are not available yet.

Editted: All the girls have been released. Have fun with them! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Valkryie Drive Bhikkuni is basically the spin off of the anime Valkryie Drive Mermaid, where you have girls infected with special viruses and are able to power up and wield powerful weapons by....... yuri relationships. Yes, you will have girls French kissing their partners and fondling each other to get a massive power up. Basically there will be a pair of girls, a Liberator, which wields the weapon after the power up, and the Extar, which transforms into the said weapon after being fondled or French kissed. Anyway, this game takes place in an island named Bhikkuni, which sounds oddly like bikini (perhaps a foreshadowing of "plot"?).

In this game you will choose a pair of girls, where the Liberator will be having all the action of hacking and slashing whatever in your way, like a small musou game. Your Extar or partner will be be buffing your Liberator, depending on which character you selected, they may give a higher boost to different parameters like health, damage or defense. Like other Marvellous musou-ish games, you have your light attack and strong attack, which is capable of being charged to give a more powerful attack, or just give an alternative option of attacks. You also have your launcher button, which when charged up, will do a move which pushes whatever mobs surrounding your character away.

You can hold the jump button to do a Phantom Dash, which is a dash like move that is capable of following up with either a barrage of air attack, a dive attack, or a launcher move or a pushback move. You can even dodge immediately after this dash to avoid attacks, in case that you dash into one immediately. Hitting the opponents and doing all these follow ups from the Phantom Dash will help to increase your Heat meter, which actually boosts your damage output up to 400% if you can maintain it in a combo, and also increase your Synchro Stocks. Synchro Stocks are used for three things, which are entering Drive mode, where you will get a massive power up from the power of yuri, Drive Break, which are like super moves that are only accessible from Drive mode, and Connect mode, which basically buffs all your attacks at the cost of constantly depleting Synchro Stock, and it can be done in pre- or post-Drive modes.

Storywise, its basically telling a story of two sisters trying to get treatment for their yuri virus. Along the way they meet similar people and find out about what the island and Valkryies really are. Depending on your mission gradings for specific key missions, you can choose a different route on where the story will be headed, though once you finish a route, you can replay the missions to try the other route, just to see what happens. There are a total of 7 playable characters in this game, 8 if you include Mirei from Valkryie Drive Mermaid, and her squeaky Extar Mamori, which can only be partnered with her, and due to her nature of her backstory, her default mode is a Drive mode, since she needs to constantly "wield" Mamori.

Anyway, game play wise, its a pretty fun mindless hack and slash. You can get to see your favourite Valkryies in actions, destroying mobs and bosses with a perfect angle for fanservice. Speaking of fanservice, as this game's main feature is yuri power up, you will get to see tons of nudity, underskirt shots, ripped clothings, risque lingeries etc. After completing a mission, you will get both XP and Zeni, where the Zeni is your in game currency to buy stuffs for collection purposes, including a huge series of lingerie to be worn. Oh yeah. The Phantom Dash move is pretty fun move to play around, as it allows for some pretty fun juggle combos. Character models here looks pretty good, in terms of appearances and design. Viola is best girl by the way. Challenge and survival modes are also pretty fun as side games, since they test how well versed you are with the game mechanics and characters.

Sadly while playing this game, there are 4 major things that plagued me so badly that I am tempted to not recommend this game. Firstly, the abysmal camera angle. Sure, it gives a good angle of "plot", but how the hell am I supposed to find who I want to hit when the FOV of this game is only 50-60 FOV? Trying to rotate the camera while looking for that Battle Mage, while being surrounding by Fighter mobs and a barrel rolling Kubira is not fun. A certain boss in this game, abuse the camera angle so badly, that fighting her the first few times is a hair pulling experience. Coupled with the ridiculously crappy targetting system, you will literally cry as you struggle just to lock on onto that desired target. The only way to circumvent this is to go right up front to that target and lock on.

The auto save in this game, while a pretty nice feature added in compared to a lack of it in the Senran Kagura series, causes the game to get stuck in a loading screen often, forcing you to terminate the game often. Disabling it will solve this issue. The final main issue to be addressed here, is that this game is insanely buggy! Achievements not unlocking until after a certain patch was released, even so it won't register the achievements sometimes, making you have to try to get them again. Remember that boss that abuses camera angle? Well sometimes at certain conditions, if done right, she will crash your game, or put your game in a never ending loop of cutscene, causing a run to be moot, though this is pretty rare. As I rebounded my jump or Phantom Dash button onto Spacebar, everytime I start a Challenge mission, it will open up the menu screen when it starts and when I press it. For the record, my menu button is on Enter. This is super infuriating, as some mission need to have a really quick head start.

Other than those 4 major issues, I guess that the camera abusing boss is a bit overpowered, as she has some moves which hits super hard and last for a while, and has a one shot move if you are not aware of it. Though with the right strategy and tons of dodging, you can bring her down pretty easily, assuming she doesn't crashes your game. While the character model looks pretty great, their hair looks a little...... dry and glossy for some reasons. Background assets looks really simplified with pixelated assets. For some reasons, equiping a certain character costumes locks out some lingerie options, for example, if I equip Viola with Ranka's outfit, I can't use Viola's default lingerie.

Overall, I spent quite a lot of time here due to one pretty grindy achievement and also because Viola is best girl, followed by Ranka and Mirei. While I mentioned those bugs annoyed me badly, after circumventing some of them in a way, the game gets much more enjoyable. I can say when it's fun, it's an enjoyable game. However, this game is not as polished as the Senran Kagura series in terms of stability and appearance. If you do like yuri power ups and plots, you can go ahead and give this game a shot. Who knows, maybe you won't encounter some of the buggy stuffs that I did, but I would seriously recommend the Senran Kagura series if you are into this type of game. Also, try not to play with people around, since people will think you are a pervert.

5.0/10. Borderline pass. I really wanted to recommend this game, alas it just wasn't meant to be.

Tekken 7 is a 3D fighting game, where instead of the regular 2D plane, you will be fighting in a 3D environment. Like all fighting games, your goal is to knockdown an opponent by draining their HP completely, or by draining as much HP as possible before the time runs out. Since the game takes place in a 3D arena, movement in this game will not only cover the conventional move forward and backward, crouching and jumping, but it will also cover side steppings, where you will move around the opponent in a circular motion. This is very crucial for Tekken as you may want to dodge some strings, leaving the opponent open for a counter attack. You can also dash forward and backward, and if you hold forward for a long time, the character will enter a run state. Certain characters also have their own types of sidesteps and dash movement, which are able to be followed up with a certain input or combination of inputs, for example, Kazuya's wave dash. By just standing, holding back or holding down-back, you are able to enter a guard state, though they can only block certain moves. Holding down forward allows you to slowly crouch forward to your opponent, though if you do this input right when a low attack is about to land, it will parry it, opening a combo chance.

Mechanic wise, there are 4 attack buttons, each button corresponding to a limb. Depending on the characters, certain combination of buttons pressed in a quick sequence or together in a combination will produce different things, for example, a string of X-X-Y will yield a quick jab combo string, while X+A will yield a grab. Different moves have different properties, for example a attack that has a high property will hit a standing or jumping opponent, but will completely whiff on crouching opponent. Similarly, attack with mid properties are able to hit both standing and crouching opponents, but are able to be blocked, and finally low attacks hit opponents who are either not blocked or doing a standing blocked, but are blocked by a crouch block, or be completely negated by a low parry. Pretty much each character have their own special parry, other than the universal low parry, that are able to negate an attack with a counter attack of your own. When your HP is lowered up to a certain value, you will be able to access Rage Art, which are practically your super move, and a Rage Drive, which is an enhanced move that yields certain properties.

Story-wise, it basically continues the Mishima feud from the previous Tekken game. Since some characters have some storyline which does not fit into this Mishima feud plot, their story is more of a mini episodes that will cover what they are doing during this period. Other than story mode, the offline content also contains an arcade battle, like the old Tekken games where you fight a series of AI until you reach the final boss, practice mode to practice combos, blocking movement etc, and finally, treasure mode, where you fight AIs continuously until you lose or quit this mode. Everytime you win, you will earn fight money and a free customization item, which you will use to dress up your characters. If you win a special fight or a fight under a special condition, you will get to win more items. There is a VS mode, though its meant to be played offline with another player. Online mode have 3 modes, which are ranked, where you try to rank up in the leaderboard by beating other people, player match where you fight other people without taking into consideration of ranks, and finally tournament mode, where you can gather a group of people to fight each other, tournament style. Among all things, online mode will be the feature you will spend the most time in, followed by practice mode, unless you just like fighting AIs.

One thing great that Tekken 7 did, unlike Street Fighter 5 or Dead or Alive 5, is keyboard mapping. For a keyboard scrub like me, this is a godsend. SF 5 and DoA 5 lack these features suprisingly, and it's really troublesome when the keyboard layout they give causes ghosting, and the only way around it is to use a 3rd party remapping tools, or buy a stick or pad. Another thing it did well is that unlike SF 5, you can play offline mode without any server disconnection error. One thing that irks me about SF 5 is that the game will disconnect you from whatever session you are in, even if you are playing survival mode or story mode or trials. Imagine reaching stage 99 on Hell difficulty in Survival mode, only to have your progress cut off due to server disconnection. Tekken 7 does not suffer from this. You can play treasure mode all the way to Tekken God Prime rank, and if your Internet gets interrupted during that session, you won't lose any fight money or title progress. Online is great when it's smooth, pretty much most of the matches are playable without significant delays or lags. And finally, the customization. This game offers tons of customization. You can dress up characters as well, other characters, for example, Alisa as 2B. The customization is also able to dress a character to the point where you can dress up King as a masked Dwayne Johnson from the Tooth Fairy, along with the fairy wings and tutu. The roster of characters here is pretty huge as well, from returning characters like Jin, Heihachi, Kazuya, all the way to newcomers like Kazumi and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Akuma from the SF series.

While majority of the online matches are smooth, sometimes a match while having 5 bars of connection, will drop to 4 or below, causing some lag and jitter. Sometimes disconnects also happens, and fight requests appear to not reach your opponent, despite both parties accepting it. Offline content here, is pretty much very limited. For starters, there's no versus AI mode here, except for pretty much arcade and treasure mode, and those will get stale really quickly. Arcade is only 5 matches, after that its done, as compared to the old arcade mode, which takes about 8 rounds or so. Story mode is, unfortunately, extremely short. You can finish it all in about 2 hours or so. The character story modes, I am not sure should it even be called that, since they are freaking short, some videos, 1 match fights, and another video, and you are done with it. Seriously? Even most of the SF 5 character stories are slightly longer than that (slightly as in about 1-2 minutes longer though). Tournament mode is barely played since its broken as the host can disband the entire tournament by leaving this mode. It's also very hard for beginners like me to get it, since some stuffs are practically hidden and need to be discovered online, for example moves frame data, some hidden follow up moves or movements etc. Moves that are safe, best pokes etc have to be found out on your own or from the game community.

Overall, despite its flaws, its an awesome fighting game. I am getting bodied everywhere by everyone I met, yet I am seriously enjoying it. It's a great game for casual to drop in and punch people in the groin, but to fully understand the game, the road to mastery is really, really long. I would highly recommend it if possible, unless you are into those offline modes completely, then I guess you can give this game a shot, but you may want to try other games like DoA 5, Mortal Kombat or Injustice for so, since their offline contents are much more than Tekken 7 have to offer.

A soild 8.5/10 from me. Highly recommended.

Senran Kagura Estival Versus is a hack and slash game, which is the sequel of Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus. Basically in this game, you use a character and beat your way among tons and tons of nameless mooks until you met your objectives, be it defeat a boss character, complete within a certain period of time, or just beat up everything on the screen. As you beat mobs up, when they take enough damage their clothes will tear apart, inflicting more damage will cause most of it to tear off, unless you use a finisher move, which if they are in their undies, it will completely be torn apart, leaving them naked. Hence the term used in Doom, rip and tear.

Combat in this game is similar to Shinovi Versus, where there are light and heavy attacks, Breach Arts, Burst, Aerial Raves and Ninja Arts or Ninpos. Each character have their own set of chain combos and Ninpo. As in Shinovi Versus, your character have 3 forms; default form, transformed form or Shinobi Transformation and Frantic form. Depending on how long you stay in whichever form, whenever you finish the mission or not, it will fill up a meter based on that form you stayed in, which is Flash for default outfit, Yang for Shinobi Transformation and Yin for Frantic.

While in Shinovi Versus, the storyline for each schools is quite jumbled up, in Estival Versus, the storyline for all schools is the same. Regardless of faction, they just have a single story line in this game. Each character have their own story lines as well, which are only unlocked after you destroyed a certain number of towers scattered in certain missions. The mobs here, are pretty much similar to the ones in Shinovi Versus, with the addition of some new mobs with different traits, like the monkey mob, ram mob and crane mob.

Combat-wise, in addition to the basic attacks, Aerial Raves, burst and Breach Arts, there are few more moves being added in this game. Wake up attacks basically gives you and option for those people who loves rushing you down even when you are down, whether its an attack or a backstep dodge. Another new thing added is wall run, where you can jump and run on the walls and it allows the wall ambush attack, where when running on the wall, you can press any attack button and they will launch themselves onto the enemies, resulting in a free Aerial Rave if it connects. Ultimate Ninja Arts, which costs 5 scrolls, are no longer limited to being used at 20% HP, now it can be used whenever you have 5 scrolls available and after level 11 onwards.

In Shinovi Versus, the game is really fast paced, so everything feels very fast. In Estival Versus, they rebalanced things, such as the consecutive guard have a significant delay now, about 2 seconds. You cannot spam guard anymore, praying for a parry. Also dash cancelling is nerfed in a way that you cannot dash cancel out of many moves now, only certain moves. You can still jump cancel out of them though. Mobs now attack slightly more than usual, even on easy difficulty, so if you play only on offense, you will take a lot of damage. In short, this game encourages slightly more defensive plays, instead of going balls deep all the way. With the slow down in pace, character speed in chaining moves are also changed as well.

I have to say, firstly, the graphics in this game is way better than Shinovi Versus. Other than that customization in this game is way more advanced than that in Shinovi Versus. Want a different colour hair for Hikage? Want to use transformed outfit as the default one? Want to use a hat only for Shinovi Transformation? Sure thing, you can do any of those. You have way more flexibility here than in Shinovi Versus in terms of pimping out your character. In fact, they even added a diorama mode for people who just like to pose their character. You can put up to 5 characters in a background, doing whatever poses that you want! If you think Shinovi Versus had a big roster of 22 characters, then this game have an insane roster number of 30 characters! There are additional 5 characters that are DLC only, but they don't add anything to the story. However, you get to used characters that you loved in Ikki Tousen and Dead or Alive here!

Fan service, oh boy this game have plenty. Firstly mobs also now experiences clothing damage when they are heavily damaged, thus you can see mobs wear their undies when they take heavy damage. Also with enough clothing damage done, if you finish the boss of with a Ninpo, their clothes will tear completely. Previously in Shinovi Versus, full nudity can only be achieved if an Ultimate Ninja Art is used on a lingerie clad boss only. Certain maps also add features know as Climax Finish, where if you beat the boss characters at designated locations, all of their clothings will tear completely, and they will interact with the environment in an embarassing manner. Yay for more fanservice!

Despite all this nice things, alas there are few things to gripe on. The main thing I really feels need addressing is the AI and the amount of perks it gets. Sure the AI here is not good (from running into a wall or running all the way into an AOE Ninpo), however the among of perks it gets are insane! In addition to the hyper armor in their transformed mode for all moves, firstly they spam waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much I-frame moves. If you have a character whose chain combos knock them down slightly, prepare to see them retaliate with a wake up attack which waste time or launches you instead. They will do this EVERY SINGLE TIME they are knocked down. Also, they can transform while in a juggle state (Why? Isn't a transformation + Burst effect on the ground enough?) and start with a lot of scrolls available, so they tend to spam tons and tons of Ninpos (Why?!), which is an extreme time waster. In short, boss battles in this game is practically the same as in Shinovi Versus: Ninpo spamming the bosses to oblivion before they transform.

At lower levels, mobs may be quite docile, however at higher difficulty, they become more spammy with their attacks. The Turtle mobs here is another special mention, like in Shinovi Versus. Not only they guard so much at higher difficulties, however, their wake up attack makes them INVINCIBLE on wake up. WHY?! This mob is already one of the most frustrating mobs for characters with crappy Breach Arts or Ninpos, but making them being not able to defeated fast really cranks the annoyance to another level. And they run away all the damn time! Did I mentioned pretty much many maps hare are quite open spaced? Good luck chasing them. And parries, oh my god, what have they done? Why does boss character able to escape from MY parries?! Why does parry makes you take damage when another attack squeeze into it?! Parry is supposed to be rewarding, why am I being punished for it? It's not easy especially with the anti-guard spam in service.

In spite of the massive customization, you can't really change the colour of the undies. Also character stories are locked until you cleared a certain number of towers, as mentioned, then again, the character stories may contain spoilers. It's kinda annoying to go into a 3 on 1 map with a character that you have barely any idea on using though, until you are forced to do so. I didn't played the PvP portion of the game, but from what I heard, even with the rebalancing attempts, its still not balanced. Daidonji here is still top tier, Yagyu, Asuka and Mirai spamming still exists and runaways still are there.

Overall, I am satisfied with this game. Sure I am more used to the faster paced Shinovi Versus, as I spent many hours levelling everyone there, but this is still a fun game. I would recommend getting it, though coming from Shinovi Versus, it would take time to get used to it. Again, don't play it when your family members are around you pervert. Get it while its on sale as well if possible.

A 6.8/10 from me.

*Edited score since after playing Valkryie Drive, I realized I gave the score a little bit too low.

Hell Girl is an greenlit puzzle game. This is not like Bejeweled or Huniepop, where you need to match 3 or more blocks of the same colour horizontally or vertically. Instead, you use your mouse to match similar blocks by dragging across them. You can have a straight line pattern, zig-zag pattern, triangle pattern or other type of patterns to match. Depending on the type of blocks matched, you either get more mana, damage the enemy or heal yourself. 4 or more blocks will yield combo blocks or spellbooks, where they will help to destroy blocks in a particular pattern (cross shape for example), or a certain area only (3x3 area of destruction), or damage other random blocks.

Here you get to use one of three girls (fire girl, ice girl and lightning girl, yes they have no name), going on an adventure, fighting monsters in the dungeons (for what reasons I don't know, perhaps they are some kind of good Samaritan, or they are just bored). Each girl have their own skillsets, which either heal themselves instantly or over time, damage enemies, or to set up for some combos. Winning fights in dungeons will yield money and experience for the girls, and occasionally, if the special treasures are destroyed in time, you will get either more money, experience, or even skills and costumes for the girls. The money or gold can be used to purchase skills, while experience helps to level up the girls. In each dungeons, each mob have a unique attack block. For example, one can create a block which will deal damage if not destroyed in time, or apply a DoT on the character itself. Some dungeons have up to 3 mobs, while higher level ones will have 5 mobs per dungeons.

This game can practically be 100% completed in a short time, which is pretty much a good thing. You just play through the game normally, by the time you know, it, all the achievements are unlocked already. The biggest perk this game have is that, its freaking cheap. Hell, it costs even cheaper than my lunch at work. Another great thing (or is it not?) is the dialogues of the NPCs and the characters themself. What in the world are they talking about? Sh*t rock in a dungeon? S*men powder? Holy crap, those are really ridiculous. Once you keep playing it, it feels really repetitive, basically enter dungeon, match blocks, survive as long as you can, either win or lose, repeat. Plus leveling up the other girls may feel quite repetitive (unless you are aiming for 3 stars though). Furthermore, some mobs feel insanely tough, where the slightest mistake will get you. Perhaps I just suck at puzzle game, but it's pretty frustrating when you can't do anything when more than 2 types of blocks are disabled.

Overall, if you want to try a puzzle game, you may give this one a shot. It's dirt cheap after all.

6.0/10.
