Honestly, I love this game. The graphics are amazing, the atmosphere is absolutely awesome, the open world ... this is what I would expect in such an environment like this. The gameplay loop is fun and I really enjoy my time so far in the zone.

Sure, there are some issues here and there, but overall, it's definitely one of my favorite games this year. Thank you GSC Game World for this really brutal awesome title.

Would I recommend it to my friends ? Definitely !...

After near 18 hours into this game I think I am able to let you guys know what I think. First things first: If you prefer german language, the translation is using gender speech - if you can't handle some * and stuff like that, maybe this game isn't for you.

I really like the fact that this game is a more "darker" RPG/farming sim than others. I love the fact that you can be good, evil or neutral (I love to insult people haha). The game is really easy to use.... even if you're new into the farming genre, you'll get quickly into it. The world is really great designed, the art style is absolutely amazing but beware, this is not as "cozy" as you may think. There are survival elements like hunger, you have to sleep and there is combat - but don't worry, you can also have the options to make survival/combat a bit easier.

But I am honest with you, the combat feels a bit clunky and can be a downside. There are some bugs and issues here and there, but the developers are working on it and released some patches since release. So keep in mind, it's only a team of two (I think) and what the did is really amazing.

Would I recommend it to my friends ? Yes, I would, because it's really a good game - not perfect, absolutely not. But if you like farming, medieval settings and can handle some "clunky" combat, I am sure you'll enjoy your time ! If you can spare some bucks, give it a try - and if they add coop and more in the future, we'll have a great dark, medieval version of Stardew Valley, I think.

Already put over 7 hours in and I really like this bullet hell type of game. I love the graphics, the gameplay, the music (really, I love it!) and it's a lot of fun to beat all that creepy creatures down. If you're into bullet hell, roguelike games, I would recommend it to you, too - definitely !

Absolutely worth a buy !

Honestly, I wasn't sure about this title at first, but now I pumped already 4 hours in and I really love it. The art style is fun, the story interesting and I love the combat in this game. It's one of the best pixel art games and genre mix I've played so far and I can't wait to dive in much more into it.

My rating so far: 8 out of 10

Maybe you're like me. Sometimes depressed, sometimes stressed and sometimes you're not in the mood to really play a game or take a walk outside.... And then you start this title, enjoy beautiful places and the time in it. I already got my 5 hours in and I love to come back to some places and explore it again.

Thanks Witte for this cool project. Honestly, I didn't expect I would enjoy it this much, but I do.... and for this price, I am absolutely fine with it.

First of all: Before you buy, keep in mind this game is in an early pre-alpha state. You'll run into bugs, performance issues, maybe disconnections etc. ! If you expect an full or near complete game, I would highly recommend to put it on your wishlist, join the discord and wait for further development.

Honestly, in the past, many sandbox rpg games failed a lot in the past and I know that people are aware of it today and sure, it can be risky to get into a early access pre-alpha game like this, but this one has a lot of potential.

Even with a negative rating, the developer keeps working on this game and if you join the discord, you'll see a lot of interesting sneak peeks and it shows, that the developer really cares. The game itself has some issues, but I expected it for an pre-alpha stage.

What I really love about this game, there are already some jobs implemented including police... so it offers more than all other sandbox RPGs in the past. Also the developer offers the dedicated server files, so you're able to host your own server, if you prefer to make your own community :) !

Conclusion: I am happy to see an developer not giving up right now and keeps working on it. Don't buy this as a game, more as an investment into the future, willing to help the developer fleshing out this game. If they keep up working on it, it can be a good standalone rpg game we all ever wanted.

But please, again... don't buy it and expect something like GTA RP or Arma Life right away. It's a small development team and updates will take their time. If you're not sure, wishlist it, visit the official discord and keep an eye out for the development progress.

I really like this game. I love the art style, the gameplay loop is good and relaxing and I do not regret buying it. But to be honest with you guys, sometimes it feels a bit clunky/buggy and I really hope that the developers will fix them in the future - but that doesn't mean that this game is bad - no ! If you like cozy farming sims, I would give it a shot. The price is fair for this amazing game in my opinion.

My rating: 7.5 out of 10 and if they'll fix some bugs, I will rate it definitely higher :) !

Honestly, I wasn't sure about this game. I haven't played the demo, watched some Youtube videos and decided to give it a go.... and I am not regretting my decision.

Critter Cove is a cute cozy game with good stylized graphics, a fun gameplay loop, nice characters and honestly, the best thing is: Even if it feels a bit like a mix between MTAS and AC, it's different enough for me to enjoy it. It's not like the "Next Stardew Clone", so I am sure - if you're a cozy fan like me - you'll like this too.

Early Access today is a risky thing today, but this game feels really good and well made. Even if you dislike Early Access, this game is worth to take a look. The price for this game is absolutely fine in my opinion. Nothing to complain about it.

Conclusion: Would I recommend it to my friends ? Absolutely ! If you like cozy games, this one is definitely for you.

Ale & Tale Tavern is a really good game. The stylized art is fantastic, the gameplay loop is funny and I really enjoy my time so far, but you can clearly see and feel that this game is created to play it with friends. It's possible to play it solo, but it can be really stressful at times, so yeah.... at the end you'll get the most out of it if you play it with your friends. So keep that in mind if you thinking about buying it.

Overall: it's a really good game with a lot of fun - and even more with friends !
