It says it isn't but it's just a quirky personality quiz, it's cheap and I wanted to do one for fun so I wouldn't hesitate to try it if that's what you're looking for. I found the ending I got really corny, but other results might be more interesting

It would have been cool to have seen all the possible keywords and what percentage of players got them, even though the results would probably be skewed by people retaking the test, but I know that will never happen- a guy can dream, though

i'm sad this game hasn't gotten more attention. i was watching markiplier play this and couldn't take waiting for him to make certain choices, so i bought the game and did them myself. i completed the game way quicker than i expected to, but i absolutely loved the narrative- you can definitely keep my money

I've been a big Pokemon fan for many years and tried this after seeing it on SacredAlmighty's channel, I can tell you the game is seriously great; don't watch a playthrough before buying in my opinion, the experience is better if you go into it blind. The game's not a complete pushover in terms of difficulty and the monster concepts are all pretty cool. The only thing I think it suffers from is the fact you can overlevel really easily since it's open-world, just like in Pokemon's most recent mainline entries, Scarlet and Violet. Bosses tend to have a gimmick that make them difficult in spite of the level gap anyway, however, so don't let that deter you. Just flee from wild encounters you don't want to "catch" and you might not even see it, since I habitually kill everything. If you want to think of this game as a Pokemon clone, I'll tell you now that after trying my hand at a bunch of them- Nexomon, Temtem, Coromon- this is 100% the best one I've ever played (and I have I think 1000 hours in TemTem? Lol)

I also ran into a bug where I gave my Coaldron a rare version of Random Starter that gives an extra slot, but instead of granting one, it permanently took one away when I peeled the sticker off, since it wasn't replaceable? I updated the game and opted into the "daily" beta, which has fixed the bug, but my Coaldron is still one slot short of what it normally has so I'm a bit depressed. This is still a great game though

P.S; I was playing offline so my playtime isn't accurate, I have over 30 hours in this and I'm not done yet- but I'm also trying to do as much in one playthrough as possible so decide with that information what you will

rewrite the ending. dude it is so underwhelming... makes having played along all these years feel so pointless...

my party keeps getting replaced by starter evolution lines whenever i interact with certain things in this game's pokemon center, forcing me to reload my last save... the game itself is alright, though. but this should definitely be fixed, it is very annoying

Starts off slow imo, but is just as good as the first one, if not better. My two cents when playing this game though:

If you played the first game on hard and struggled a bit towards the end of the game, I recommend you consider downgrading to normal (not to easy, that is definitely overkill). This game`s bosses are harder than the first game`s, so don't risk soft-locking yourself on a difficult boss and restarting if you aren't confident in your abilities, which is very possible fairly early into the game (and the beginning of the game isn`t really something you`d want to replay). Though this is ultimately up to you

And if you're the type that likes to do everything possible, take it slow and do it in short bursts. Trying to do as much as possible in a single session WILL burn you out very easily, since there is a lot more to do in this game, including a LOT of reading, compared to the last one. I would know

And on the off-chance you didn`t play the first game, go back-- you`d be missing out

That aside, this is a great entry to a great series. I`m glad I started.

More of a visual novel than a horror game; probably not the game for you if you're looking to get scared. Bought this game on sale because I thought the cast of characters were interesting and was not disappointed- the story is fine, but the characters are what make the game worth playing through.

Only had two issues with the game; one being the antagonist's motives are, in my opinion, bad for being rather shallow, so I would not get too invested in their backstory if I were you, since you will probably just end up being disappointed. The second regards the second last chapter, which kind of drags itself out in the first half. I found it rather mind-numbing to read through because of a fair amount of (mostly inner) dialogue that doesn't need to be there. Speaking of the second last chapter, there is a scene where the VA of the character you play completely misreads the mood and lets out a bloodcurdling shriek in what is supposed to be a normal conversation. It's kind of funny, but it is fairly sudden and also fairly loud, so you may want to tone your volume down a bit at some point when you get there. Though I will note that this is the only case like this that I've seen in my 35-ish hours of gameplay, in which the rest of the voice acting is honestly really good (for the main cast, anyway).

As a person that usually doesn't play RPGs, the story makes it completely worthwhile. If you're looking for a good story, you should give this game a shot, though if you've ever even touched an RPG before, I recommend playing on hard or you might lose interest from battles being fairly easy during the first half of the game. Also, some cutscenes aren't fully voice acted so be ready for that. and Rean's VA will pronounce "details" terribly wrong But the game makes for a good experience overall
