The Campaign is good, with some great moments. The ability to move freely in an open world and tackle your own objectives recreates the mission ‘Halo’ on Combat Evolved and turns it into the entire game, which is amazing. The potential here is great and I hope 343i keep adding to the Campaign with new content.

Do I recommend the Campaign for someone new to Halo? No. I would recommend Halo: The Master Chief Collection instead. In that game you get 6 Campaigns for the same price as Halo Infinite, each individually costing $10 or less. The Multiplayer on Halo: MCC is also more refined and has had longer to develop content. So if you were inclined to put your money towards playing Halo, play MCC instead of Infinite.

In Summary:
Infinite offers great multiplayer gameplay for free, and a decent campaign. But it is not enough to pull people away from Halo: MCC. Do not spend any money on Infinite, just try it out for free.
