The leap from Risk of Rain to Risk of Rain 2 is completely awesome. I would consider it similar to GTA2 to GTA3. How they effectively went from a great 2 dimensional concept and created a 3 dimensional version is amazing. The concept is in tact and it stays true to the original world/theme. A challenging game for those who can handle it. This game is not for those use to the modern "can't die" games that hold your hand and tell you what to do. The game fun and multiplayer function works well. Well worth the money spent.

My brother bought this while there was a buy one get one free. He gifted me as we both enjoyed the original game.
