This game is a blast! The server issues seem to be fixed and that is what the negativity is about. Get in there and help establish democracy!

I love this game and I and a lot of other players have been coming back to it. The value of even just the base game is insane (especially on a sale). You can play this game for hundreds of hours and that doubles with the iceborne expansion. If you are wondering if you should play this in 2023 I would say yes and it is likely to have a health player base until Monster hunters 20 year anniversary in spring 2024!

I don't know how to recommend this game enough. Outer wilds is the only game I have played that truly tells a story that can only be told through a video game. It simply couldn't be done via movie, tv, or a book.

That artistic talent gave me existentialism after I beat the game. I couldn't enjoy music other than this soundtrack for weeks. It is strange to say but it really did change my life and helped me value the small things and focus on the present.

I laughed, I cried, I explored, and I loved every second of it.

After many more hours I highly recommend this game. DE has done their in game enconomy in the best possbile way to allow players to earn premium currency in game. While not everything can be earned in game (Tennogen & Prime Accessories) 99% can be earned completely free and the diversity of builds and frames makes this a must have.

GTA Online is ♥♥♥♥. No one wants to sit at a loading screen for half hour. Modding is what made this game something to keep coming back to. No reason to play or support this game anymore, good call Take 2 just before summer sale give everyone a reason not to buy your product.

Early Access Review
I didn't even realize this game was in early access. It is so polished and absolutely my favorite game for VR to date. The only bad thing is that I put off so long buying it. Everything about this game is polished and updates keep rolling in. I am looking forward to see what could be next!

Cloudlands: VR Minigolf is a game that I bought excited about a multiplayer game that you just pass the HMD to the next person. That is not in the game yet but will be coming with a future update. I still enjoyed the game although I don’t really have the patience for it and some of the holes are frustrating.

Pros:
  • After hitting the ball you can press the trigger button and instantly warp to your balls current location. This is perfect and necessary for a game like this.
  • Controls felt good, after a couple test swings I felt like I knew exactly how hard I need to hit it. The haptics on the controller were spot on as well.
  • Good course design. I personally like the simple wholes like you would find at an actual minigolf place but if you are a fan of wacky and difficult this game will cater to you as well.
  • Graphics are well done.

Cons:
  • Frustrating at times, I played hole that had a Par of 42??? It was fun for maybe the first 5 or 6 hits then it was just annoying and I was swinging like a madman trying to finish it. It may be I don’t have the patience for it, I am sure some people will love it.
  • No spectator mode: If you have people that are trying to watch your game on the TV/Monitor it will only show what the person playing is looking at so it ends up being really shakey and not enjoyable to watch. I am not sure how they could fix this maybe incorporate a 3rd person spectator mode.

TLDR:
The game is fun don’t get me wrong. I recommend it on a sale, but personally I only like about half of the holes. The simple ones are a lot of fun but holes that are just crazy and have par 42 were not enjoyable and made me lose my patience. There is not a whole lot of content as of writing this review but I hope with future updates and free DLC more content and courses are added. I think if the Devs made the courses more like 3D Ultra Minigolf it would be fantastic, I think it would be cool to have multiplayer where you could use powerups and such it would make it an insane party game.

When looking for games to play on the Vive Audioshield is not even one that originally even crossed my mind. Man oh man was I wrong. This game puts you in a really cool stage environment your left hand wields a blue shield and your right hand wields a red shield (looks more orange to me). If you put your shields together or pull one of the triggers on the controller, you create a purple shield. Your goal is to block the blue, red, and purple orbs that are coming at you, to the beat of the music, with the according color shield. The game is simple but extremely fun and while not perfect the orbs match the beat of the song extremely well.

Pros:
  • Can import any mp3 on your computer.
  • Visuals, especially the particle effects flying around your shield, are really fun and good looking.
  • Simple, anyone can pick this up making it a great party game. It was easy swap headsets between songs to let everyone try it.

Cons:
  • Not a lot of included songs with the game it really doesn’t shine unless you import your own. The included songs have a lot of variety and are really good though.
  • UI is a little weird, I think the difficulty is supposed to be normal, hard, harder but often times I would see the same option twice i.e. Normal, harder, harder.
  • Easy, with only three notes (purples are hardly used) it is hard to miss a lot of notes. As far as I know of you can’t fail out of a song like you can in Guitar Hero for missing too many notes. When I would give the headset to someone new they had no trouble playing it on harder without any previous experience with it.

TLDR:
Fantastic game, buy it. I really didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. It was the favorite at my launch day party and we ended up sinking the most time in to this game. This is a game that I could go back to over and over. The game was a little on the easy side (making it perfect for a party) but other than that I had no issues with the game and in my opinion is a must play.

I purchased this game and enjoyed it. The controls were fantastic the haptic feedback on your racket hand when you swing is what makes this game awesome.

Pros:
  • Great control scheme
  • Hitting the tennis ball people is a lot of fun

Cons:
  • Not a lot of content. I played this game for about half an hour and really felt like I experienced all there is to experience. I cant see myself playing this anymore then I have.
  • No AI you hit the ball then teleport across the court and hit it back to yourself
  • No way to freely move. I had to hit the ball near where I wanted to teleport to get there, a means of teleporting to a specific location would improve this game a lot.
  • Price

TLDR:

Overall this game is fun put it is definitely not worth the $20 I have requested a refund but I would gladly repurchase this game and change this review if the price is lowered and when an AI is added to play against similar to WII Tennis.
