TL;DR A fun game for people that like getting loads of cash just because they can. :)

This is a quite simple game. You speculate the bitcoin market and try to cut a great deal by buying cheap and hoping that the price goes up.

You play a little man, in a little room, with little to do. You suddenly feel the itch to get into bitcoin mining, and so you do. You ask your friends for advice on how to get into mining. You buy some components to start mining. You sell everything you've mined so far and make a small profit.

You feel compelled to buy some "Ragescoins" and suddenly find out that they have skyrocketed in price. You waste all that money on extra tools and components and go broke because the electricity bill came in. Rinse and repeat until you have way too much money so that you aren't even able to read the number properly.

Even if the game is quite fresh, I haven't encountered any bugs and what there is so far, is quite fun.

This game's core is quite simple, but what made me want to try this game out was seeing the devs actively polishing the game.

All in all True Mining Simulator offers you:
  • Short but fun little game
  • Simple controls
  • No cubes
The price in my eyes is fine and really didn't bother me.

TL;DR Give it some more time because it has a lot of potential :/

As soon as I saw this game, I had to think of a DMC and Slay the Spire crossover. Since I did enjoy both of those games, I decided to give "Sentimental K" a try. Upon going to the first stage, I had to fight some shielded warriors. The design was cool but the texture seemed kinda washed off, I didn't think much of it and moved on. The other enemies on the other hand seemed fine and there was a good variety of them.

One thing that stood out to me was the look of the sword you get, vibrant, big and packs a punch. Shortly after I got my first skill, tried it out and the effects were truly stunning. I then moved on to the next stage and saw a new enemy, some weird creature I can't really describe. I easily fought them off and then something started to bother me. Didn't know what it was at the time and just moved on. Got similar enemies to fight off and after the third fight, I finally knew what was bothering me. A few of my attacks didn't connect with the enemy even though my cursor was on them. The closer you got to the player, the higher was the chance of him missing.

Throughout my fights I noticed another thing and it was that the dash mechanic can get you anywhere on the map in one blink, which led to me most of the time missing my attacks because instead of being in front of the enemy, I was on the other side of the map.

Lastly, even though the enemy design was interesting and unique, the map on the other hand felt quite empty. Sure, the designs and colors change, but I couldn't really get over how repetitive the environments looked.

Even with all it's flaws, the foundation is fairly decent and ready for you to try out.

All in all Sentimental K offers:
  • Many different skills for you to master
  • Many different artifacts to help you along your journey
  • Good number of unique enemies
  • Kind of repetitive worlds
  • Different weapons for you to try out
At its current state, I feel like it's a tiny bit overpriced but I'm sure it will feel more complete later on.

TL;DR If you like arcades, this is a no-brainer :)

This is a game I never knew I wanted. I've been into arcades for a long time but it has always been hard for me to even play arcade games where I live. I've always had a small itch for arcades and have been watching youtube channels covering the topic for a good bunch of year. The moment I had heard about this game, I had fallen in love with it instantly and just couldn't wait to play it while it downloaded.

You play in the shoes of a birthday boy. Your uncle being the amazing uncle he is, gives you unlimited credits to play at any arcade in the city. If leeching isn't your style, you can also do jobs such as delivering newspapers and babysitting to earn money. The game has any arcade your heart could desire, from simple claw machines all the way to lazer tag. There is not much to say about the game. It's an amazing arcade game, and I can't fight the urge of coming back to it on the regular. Another reason I keep coming back is that the game is receiving updates regularly.

In of itself, the concept is really simple, but I don't know why no one has done it before devotid.

All in all The Coin Game offers you:
  • Many different arcades for you to try out
  • A vast map for you to explore
  • Many prizes for you to collect
  • Many locations with distinct vibes to them
For what you get, the price tag is more then reasonable and a definite must-buy.

TL;DR The update makes this feel like a new game :))

I played this game on release on the PS4 and it was probably one of the least enjoyable experiences I've ever gone through. The world was empty, uninteresting and I died more often to glitches then to actual enemies. A few friends of mine then played it after the big rework and said it was actually good.

Sceptical about what what they told me, I decided to wait for it to go on sale to avoid wasting another 40 € if I'm still displeased with the game. After a few hours of playing, I noticed that the game was wayyy smoother then it was originally. It really felt like a different game, there were finally NPCs to interact with, the world finally seemed alive. Even after completing the main quest line, it felt like I hadn't even played 20% of the game which kept me playing for even longer.

Unfortunately, there were still some issues. I kept getting massive frame drops when entering cities which made the experience less enjoyable but still okay. Some quests were quite annoying because you had to walk back and forth and they took longer then it really should to complete. Other then the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ frames at times and some annoying quests, I have nothing else to say about the game.

If you plan on getting the game, I recommend getting some pals along the way. It is still an enjoyable experience when lone wolfing, but the game is ten times better with a few friends tagging along.

All in all Fallout 76 offers
  • A lot of playtime
  • Fun and interesting quests
  • Many different skills to try out
  • Appalachia radio
  • Many secrets and easter eggs to discover
  • Overall enjoyable gameplay
In my opinion the price tag is perfectly fine for what you get. If you catch the game on sale, you should definitely buy it.

TL;DR This game is the chill brother of Cities Skylines :)

NewCity is like any other city builder. The only difference is that it feels way calmer since there isn't much stress put on you. You start with a simple road, you expand into more roads, place the buildings that you want, and let the game do the rest. There honestly isn't much to say about this game. What I usually do is let the game run on my second screen while doing something else on the other screen.

Sometimes I do some tweaks to my city for 10 minutes and then I just go back to what I was doing, and other times, I spend multiple hours setting up highways and bridges to connect the different cities I have randomly scattered across the map.

Considering that this game is still in early access, I have to say that I do enjoy seeing my city grow bit by bit.

All in all NewCity offers:
  • Weather changes
  • Day and night cycle
  • Relaxing gameplay
  • Cartoony, yet nice graphics
  • Freedom to build whatever your heart desires
Though the price tag is a bit steep, it is very relaxing to see my city grow while playing Overwatch.

TL;DR This game is a mix of Noita and Rogue Legacy, very fun if you're on a budget :)

I feel like I got off on the wrong foot with this game. Originally, the game didn't work at all for me which led me to leaving a negative review (Initial Review can be found below) and also refunding the game. The developer then got back to me within a few hours of my review telling me that he had updated the game.

All excited I decided to purchase the game again and give it a second try. All the issues I had previously mentioned, were gone. I played a couple of games and had a lot of fun. The enemies were neat, the room layouts looked fairly unique and the particle effects were really good. I played a total of 5 runs (Including the tutorial).

Made it to the boss on 4 of those attempts and noticed that the bosses were quite buff. There is also a Boss strength bar that lowers the more rooms you clear which I thought was a really great system to have implemented. Even with the bar depleted, the bosses still destroyed me in no time. The 2 bosses that I encountered that were a pain in the butt were the Spider boss and the Grim Reaper boss.

Though the game felt a tiny bit unbalanced, I had a blast playing it and will definitely come back to it and follow its progress.

All in all Dungeon Throne actually offers:
  • Great visuals
  • Unique abilities
  • Challenging bosses
  • Good soundtrack
After re-reviewing it, I feel like the price is more than fair and worth a buy.

Initial Review:

TL;DR Game doesn't work :(

I'm willing to accept help for the issues I encountered and change my review.

This game reminded me of Noita which I have played and thoroughly enjoyed so I was looking forward to this game. Upon launching the game, I was greeted with a language selection screen where the only options were spanish or english, so I went for english. I then checked out the settings, adjusted the audio and tried to finetune my controls but found out that you can't even do that. When trying to change your button layout, it just resets to the original button.

I just decided to leave it the way it was, tried to start a new game and was, again, greeted with the same language selection screen. I didn't think much of it and just reselected english. After that, the game brought me back to the menu, I tried starting a game a few more times and the same thing happened. I figured that it may have been a glitch and decided to close and relaunch the game. I followed the same procedure as before with no luck. Repeated the same steps with slight tweaks and nothing worked.

I finally gave up and ended my session of Dungeon Throne before it even began.

All in all Dungeon Throne offers:
  • Settings in english or spanish
  • Pretty okay music
  • Settings in english or spanish again
  • Controls you can't change
  • A cool font
I had pretty high hopes for this game but at its current state I cannot recommend it for this price.

TL;DR If you like Enter the Gungeon, you'll for sure enjoy this game as well :)

You play the role of a Liquidator. Your goal is to clean every sewer floor from pesky creatures to be able to reach an abandoned nuclear core and destroy it. You venture down on your own (and your trusty ol' pistol) with one goal in mind; to clean up after everyone who was unsuccessful.

During my many playthroughs, I have not once regretted this purchase. The pixel art is truly amazing and so are the many different room layouts. I also love the way meta-progression works. Basically, you collect something called "Tech", once you die, you lose a percentage of said "Tech", and then you decide what to level up. The upgrades go from "Health" and "Tech" all the way over to "Better map layouts" and "Stronger Weapons".

With the many ups I've seen during my runs, I've also noticed a few downs. I found myself getting hit way too many times by a Dumpster in the first few rooms I got into and thus dying quite often. It was also due to the fact that my guns weren't quite strong enough to take down that enemy that early on in the game.

Another thing is that I feel like the rooms don't start with enough enemies to present a real challenge. It does get harder the further you get, but some of the rooms I got into sometimes had only one enemy to take down.

Lastly, during my first few attempts I also felt like I was quite slow but got used to it pretty quickly and it stopped bothering after 2 or 3 runs.

All in all Dungeon Core offers:
  • Amazing pixel art
  • Different weapons for you to try out
  • Many temporary items
  • Unique permanent upgrades
  • Interesting creatures and Bosses
  • Enjoyable deaths due to meta-progression
The price is more than reasonable and definitely a must buy if you're into top-down roguelites.
