I only just beat the first boss, but I've read a few reviews and I think they are kinda unfair. I'm not saying it's a great game, or anything, but so far I'd say it's worth the asking price. The art and music are great. I don't think I would call the controls "laggy", the sword swing wind up starts without lag to me. I think the controls are just not what people who play this type of game have come to expect.

Uniquely satisfying like few other games. It's simple, fun and refreshing. Worth playing by fans of time-waster, quick-fix type games.

This game is the essence of irreverance. The gameplay comes from the same family tree as games like The Stanley Parable, The Novelist, and Gone Home. It's sort of like a modern day equivalent to a "choose your own adventure" novel. It has more interactivity and autonomy than a visual novel, so if you don't like visual novels that doesn't mean you will dislike this game.

I'm a fan of this sort of interactive narrative type of game and I would say this is the funniest game that this new genre has come up with so far.

There's few things in gaming more gratifying then eating a huge string of blue ghosts and this game lets you do that repeatedly!

A game that's perfect for settling friendly disputes or for just setting up a large tournament to play with your friends. Very easy to pick up and play, but with many nuanced elements to the simple mechanics.

Probably one of the most intersting games on Steam. Very easy to put tons of time into this game. It has elements of rouge-likes, FPS, and survival horror.

I would love it to pieces if it were just a little bit easier.

"Easy to play and learn, but difficult to master". It's been said before, but this game is a great example of the well worn phrase. Challenging without being frustrating.

A very absorbing game that inspires you to not want to get off the couch until you beat it. The art style, voice over narration and music are all just as good as the addicting gameplay mechanics.

A great "quick fix" type of game. A suprising amount of depth is hidden under the simple design. It's a satisfying game that doesn't ask for too much of your time.
