No Man's Sky NEXT has giving me the joy of daydreaming about playing a game all day until I can get home. Looks great, plays great, tons of content, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ universe to explore. I'm in love with this game, and if you play it you will more then likely fall in love too.

I first played Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes the day it launched on PS3. Leading into it's release I replayed the franchise, PeaceWalker included. I was shocked to fire up the PS3 and try Ground Zeroes out, it looked like trash.....

I found Ground Zeroes on the PS3 suffered from the same problem GTAV did, low framerate! After playing the silky smooth MGS4 I expected FoxEngine to be a step forward. Instead what I got was a chuggy, blurry, and jaggy mess. Once I beat the main mission I took the disk out and never wanted to try it again.

Fast forward to the PC re-release and I was getting nervous. My computer is a few years old now, a Phenom II x4 965be and a GTX570. I was worried I would be getting a similar experience with low framerates, jaggy models, blurry textures. Even if it didn't run I was still going to be buying it to show support for Godjima, and all Japanese developers for that matter, to encourage future PC releases.

Well hot damn, does it run amazing. I'm running on High settings at 1920x1080 and the game went from being the uglyest MGS I've played to the most georgus. It runs silky smooth, the animations are great, the textures are detailed.... It's just damn beautiful.

As for the content I've put in 13 hours so far and am only at 18% unlocked, and that was from the main mission and two side missions on normal difficulty and B rank. If you were to JUST play the main mission the game can be short, like an hour the first time short, but you would be missing out. The side missions have enough variety in weather, spawns, items, costumes, and objecteves to keep things fresh and exciting well after the main course. I have many more hours to go as I finish each unique mission, S ranking them all, then doing it all over again on Hard.

Considering it's reputation as "a demo with little content" this would be one of the best PC games I've ever bought. It's so well programmed, it makes me happy I can run it at such high settings without it heating up or maxing out my PC. If you're like me and grew up with a PS1 and a PS2, support one of the best franchises in video game history. I am so excited now knowing I'll also be able to run silky smooth versions of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain AND Metal Gear Online 3.
