don't play this game for the storyline - that was never its strong suit. instead, the game somehow manages to mix the good parts of skyrim and assassins creed to create some of the most ridiculously fun combat gameplay i've ever seen. i seriously haven't had more fun just ignoring questlines and instead just fighting horde after horde of enemies.

Most long-lasting and never-deteriorating fun I've ever had from a game. The community has kept this game alive, cheerful, funny, exciting, and interesting for years, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the game. The updates are a bit disappointing (I don't just want more crates, make something exciting!), but that doesn't kill the fun of the game.

Great work, Valve. For once, I'm okay if you guys can't count to three.
