actually this is the only good up to date DBZ game made for Goku with the pacing and impact, and its satisfying that he and Vegeta also has 2 forms. This game is like a failed dream project but be glad that most shonen anime doesn't have their own arena fighting games. Like HxH for example. I enjoy using Gon because he's the only character that can feint and use stances while moving, pretty much a fun technical type character who's tricky to master

Actual review: as I predicted in one of my YT videos that the devs put better tracking on jutsus which most of them is undodgable. The mechanics is very tight and crunchy compared to storm 4. This is a very beginner friendly game. Only bad thing about this game is you can spam jutsus alot. Even with auto chakra recovery. Another nice thing they made is unlimited counters, I like messing with people who uses them cuz instead of pokes and footsies in fighter games you can feint or punish them (with an ultimate), giving you a sense of reading your opponent and patience.

Bring back instant awakening from storm 3! Something that cc2 has already done with demon slayer, there is a surge mechanic you can do an ultimate art during awakening with a heat gauge that can stack damage for ultimate jutsu.

An idea for a mechanic I would like is having a chakra shield (Triangle + L2). It can block chip damage and extend guard breaking duration which of course depletes chakra.

I would also like more freedom with the switch tech. Please bring back tilts and charged shurikens instead of secondary jutsus is not a good idea. And better throw escape please
