A nice tech demo, but a game? Perhaps not. The game drops you off into a hyperbolic world and tells you to just explore, and collect things. It then mostly leaves you to your devices, with no real direction or motivation to speak of. I found it lacking in a hook to keep me interested past an initial exploration of the way the world worked. The NPC dialogue also got old very fast; most npcs didn't take have anything interesting to say, but there's a minimum time they'll stay on screen to say it.

On the VR side, the VR controls need a lot of polish:
* The game is locked to the play space center, which may not be in a convenient location (or height!). OpenVR Advanced Settings cannot be used to adjust this position
* Movement is based on the direction the controller is pointing. I'm sure opinions differ, but after spending thousands of hours in VRChat that's a jarring difference and can make movement awkward, especially when...
* The map is sideways on index controllers! That took a while to figure out, at first I thought it was hyperbolic weirdness. So now I have to hold my controller sideways and the thumbstick left to move forward...
* The game also has forced (instant) turns which can be disorienting; I wasn't sure if I had teleported or rotated
* Finally, the game freezes the mouse while focused, even in VR mode, so you can't use XSOverlay. You also can't exit it from the VR overlay...

In short, while I found the dev videos very interesting, I can't recommend this as a game, as such.
