I am very hard to please when it comes to games. I can't even remember the last time I spent more than $15-20 to buy a new game except for Modern Warfare when it released a few years ago. I just have never been able to justify dropping $60 on new AAA titles given how awful they've been in recent years. All that to say, this game has absolutely blown me away. It has been years, if not over a decade, since a game in this price point has wowed me like this game has. The tutorial is simple, and then the game tosses you right in. The progression of unlocking new gear and stratagems can feel a bit slow at times, but honestly I prefer it, gives you time to learn how to use each item before moving on to the next. The visuals are top notch, the music is EPIC, enemies are insanely well designed, and the combat is so dang satisfying. I 1000% recommend getting this game if you're interested. It is EXACTLY as much fun as you expect it to be, assuming you've watched gameplay footage.
