Loaded in to practically no tutorial regarding the HUD. The operation game-mode tutorial wasn't bad at all! Had a buddy download the game and we wanted a PvE-only style extraction, but learned to our disappointment that it was only PvEvP. We decided to give it a try anyways: gun-play felt great and the bots weren't bad at all, but (like most of these extraction style games) in a matter of a few minutes a highly experienced, high level player with advanced gear came buy and mowed us down in a matter of seconds. It felt like we were thrown into a car with little-to-no understanding of how to drive, and then told to race against Formula 1 drivers in their F1 cars. We immediately uninstalled. I like the game, and it shows potential, but don't expect to make it far in the PvEvP.

Please add PvE only extraction, devs. :(

They added a handicapped operator, which somehow broke the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of their servers and has been causing HUGE latency issues if owned and run through steam. But in typical Ubisoft fashion, they'd rather focus on making money from microtransactions and ensuring "inclusion and equality" (and all that BS) over fixing performance issues that actually affect the quality of the game.

A game full of sweats that bans you for you most minor offence run by a greedy company that couldnt give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about what the players want and/or feel needs to be changed. Not worth it, even if they paid you to play it. The experience is unenjoyable from the amount of no-lifes on the game who take it WAY too seriously, and the devs only look to add battlepass content or purchasable content to gain your money, rather than fix any real issues that the community expresses concern over. There's honestly fewer smurfs and try-hards in R6 Siege or For Honor, and that's REALLY saying a lot!

Cool game and lots of fun. Has too much LGBT crap for the 1800's. I honestly thought my game was broken and genuinely rebooted it, all because they had a man voice the female barkeep at The 3 Broomsticks. As such, I recommend saving your money in the meantime until the devs can figure out their ABC's of life and history.

Do you want to play against max level sweaty asians and try-hards from the outset? No? Then don't touch this game. All the devs care about is cash, not fair matchmaking.

Fun game to play with friends. Sadly the devs are slow to balance clearly broken characters, or refuse to patch long-time broken ones. Skill based match-making is unfortunately atrociously bad, putting you into servers with absolute no-lifers. But above all, worst part about the entire game: the Scottish warrior is wearing something under his kilt. Forshame Ubisoft, forshame. And you say he's a true Scottish warrior. -_-

Like a bad addiction, this game will leave you with highs and lows; a feeling of self disappointment and a strong self-hate, but you will always come back to it.

THE "skill-based" MATCHMAKING IS F#$KING AWFUL. Going into matches against prestige 400 with my group's highest prestige being a prestige 12. This game is not worth it. Go do something more productive. They need to learn the definition of "balance". They add new broken characters to the game, and refuse to patch old broken ones. NOTHING about this game is worth it. Fix your ♥♥♥♥ Ubisoft. I should be able to attack someone from a ledge above without missing when they are the ONLY enemy around. You guys make Assassin's Creed FFS!

Is the game perfect? No.
Is there promise? Absolutely!
Do I have some minor complaints? Sure, but the devs will actually listen to them!

Go into this expecting a fun, but sometimes frustrating experience. Some guns don't do the damage they should, it's more difficult than it should be to get a roadkill, the game still has a few bugs that need worked out, etc. I never expected to be saying this, but this community (a HALO COMMUNITY) is actually quite lovely, and the devs have been listen to every input, request, and idea, and have been working to improve the game in every way possible. I cannot wait to see where this game will go; if this keeps up, this might be the greatest halo game of all time.

Matchmaking that still doesn't balance matches, poorly optimized, broken hit boxes at times (as in you get hit from a shot a couple a yards off, not just an excuse for missing), and servers that make sociopaths look stable. Honestly not worth it. I only still play it because it is all my buddies and I can collectively run without an issue. Save your money; get a better game.

Great game! (When played properly)

The devs seem to keep pushing further and further to the killer's side. No longer can players just leave a match because of killers trolling or camping the hooks that a survivor gets put on when caught. If they do, they face a 15 minute ban period where you can't enter another match. This affects all members of your party as well. Yet the devs have done NOTHING to prevent the killers from camping; no temporary safe bubble around the hook, no reveal of hunter when within a certain radius, nothing. It seems a small thing to write about, but when that is the entire objective for the killer, it really does tell you that it breaks the game for all of the survivors. If you play this properly in a private game with friends, it can be one of the most fun things you've done in a while, but to be honest, public matches are just not even worth playing anymore.

DEVELOPERS IF YOU SEE THIS:
please Please PLEASE implement something that allows survivors the ability to unhook their teammates without the worry of a camping killer, or remove the matchmaking lock time. If the killer is abusing the game and the match, they deserve people leaving. I'd rather have random rage quitters but the ability to find a good game, than be locked out of the good matches for suffering through an atrociously awful one.

Don't buy it until they fix the problem of killers camping and abusing, and the survivors suffering for it. It's not worth it, and it's truly one of the worst games ever until then.
