No two ways about it, The Witcher 3 is the best RPG of its generation - and maybe beyond. Devs paid deep attention to every aspect, from gameplay, to character design, to sound and visuals, and especially the plot. If you haven't played it yet, it will surprise you regardless of what you most care about in a game. Also, it's one of the biggest games around in terms of both content and geography.

Plus, CD Projekt Red really are the good guys of videogames, given how they handled this triple-A franchise: fair price for the amount of content, worthy expansion packs (to say the least: both could be sold as separate games!), free DLCs.

These days it's often on sale and the complete edition is really, really worth your hard-earned bucks.

Is Deus Ex still the "best game ever"?
Of course, it depends.
If you're looking fo-- OH who am I kidding, this IS the best videogame ever made. Everyone needs to play it at least once.
Do yourself a favor and just buy it, these days it's so cheap you can't go wrong, even if you end up disliking it.
If you really can't get past the outdated graphics, there are a couple of great mods out there.
