The pinnacle of the ARPG genre at the moment.
Game is completely free to play without any aspect of spending real money being advantageous.
The graphics are astonishing and still being finetuned with every major content patch.
There's no such thing as completing the game or having nothing new to do, as even after ~1500 hours I still find out a lot of new stuff and interesting mechanics or similar things. Also every 3 months a new "season" is put into the game with brand new gameplay mechanics,items and balance changes, making it infinitely replayable.
While meta is an existent term in the game it never means that whatever build/class you want to play wouldn't be able to complete all content, so afterall everything is up to your creativity.
The only major issue in the game is its steep learning curve, however at the moment there are tons of extremely informative and easy to follow guides for beginners on the forums or on youtube. If you are afraid to start on your own or lost how to progress following one of the said guides can give you a full gameplay experience. Once you understand the basics of the game a whole world of opportunities open up to you.
Absolutely one of the best games of the recent years with even more promising updates coming in the future.

For everyone considering trying out the game, keep in mind this is Pre-Alpha. Don't worry about clunky gameplay or buggs or even balance situation, as everything is in development yet.

I haven't played much because at the times the frankfurt server was really low-population. But the game has incredible potential and even in the close future you can look forward to great additions.

Now to explain in detail:
-Huge pool of classes from which you can choose any at anytime
-Pvp oriented gameplay with skill based arena scenario (possible to compare to wow arena)
-Fair enough customization in terms of builds and playstyle
-Promised dungeon themed pve format

At the moment I wouldn't go into any cons of the game because it's still so early in the development. If you give it a try and enjoy it look forward to their kickstarter in october!

Initially I started playing far back in closed beta and played all the way to launch and afterwards. The game had/has huge potential but SLS slowly started to shift away from the community with lack of updates,news and bad changes.

Battle royale started as an attempt to gather back the player base but after they announced that It's going to be a stand-alone game you can take that as SLS clearly said that "Original Battlerite is none priority anymore".

The game is pretty close to dead now and probably will be even worse as the developers won't update it consisntently enough since they will be focusing on BR game.

In conclusion, the game itself is insanely good or atleast could be. But I don't recommend it to anyone as it's dead and will be worse from now on.

Brawlhalla used to be a fun and very intense fightning game, heavily movement-based and involving awsome combos,strings.
But when the devs decided to add dash into the main game it was all gone. Nine out of ten games in ranked I'm facing players who basically never use their jumps other than recovering. Instead they sit on the ground dash side-to-side and spamming same attack, signatures.
I don't want to complain about whether it's balanced or not but IT'S ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BORING. Seriously I lost all interest in ranked mode as It offers no fun just passive scumbags willing to sit there for 6 minutes to secure a win and not even trying to enjoy the game.
Overall, I would never ever recommend this game anymore to anyone since it became such a boring and pointless game. Also the devs simply never listen to the actual community feedback about balance changes or anything.
