This is an awesome aliens game and an awesome tactical/rts game!
The game is kinda like xcom except the battles are in real time with pause / time slowdown to activate abilities. In between missions you manage your marines, get upgrades, research stuff, etc.

I did encounter some quest blockers at the start of the game but the game is so good that I didn't have a problem replaying a section to be able to progress. I didn't get any more blockers after that.

I recommend it! Especially if you are an aliens fan!

Rock and Stone!

There are 4 factions with fresh new tech trees, lots of new units.
Gameplay improvements like auto vaulting, side armor, riding on tanks, towing guns, height advantage.
Of course there are also bugs and some missing features, but I'm sure that will all get sorted in the coming months.
If you are in no hurry, you can wait for it to get better, but I think the multiplayer is quite fun to play already.

I have finished both singleplayer campaigns and while the new campaign map is a cool idea, it's a bit of a struggle to get through.
The enemy turns are pretty slow and you have to fight a ton of skirmish missions with bad ai.
But there are also special missions that are fun to play though.

I wouldn't recommend getting it for singleplayer only, but multiplayer is fun!

Starts out quite hard but eventually you get good enough to beat down everything you find!
That is until I found the green worm...

It's good to be the cult leader!
It can feel a bit grindy at times, but it's quite fun!

Fun action game that can get quite hard. The bosses are pretty challenging.

This game isn't for everyone, weird controls, weird camera, bad friendly AI...
But it has a huge world full of locations and advanced systems that you can have fun with.
You can do stealth and knock people out, you can rob towns, dig up graves, burn wildlife and eat their roasted meat...

2024 review update:
The game is still the best fps melee combat game!
They finished all the features that were not finished at launch, like the "crafting" sytstem. They added a lot more maps, weapons, class perks. Auric malestrom missions are great fun to play and skill is more important than gear.

There are some missing features and unfinished crafting system, but you will still get like 30-40 hours of fun gameplay to level up your character to max. And then you can start a new class...

Very good first person melee pve game. Play it with friends.
