Only a negative review until they fix the CPU overloading crash that freezes my whole PC, like many others. Will give a better update on things once that comes in.

Absolutely beautiful game! Game is extremely polished and great artwork. I typically am dismissive of the "souls-like" labels as most are stretches to qualify for them. This one hits the spot, very slightly easier than losing XP from deaths from the predecessor, can come back to try again without punishment. Fights are very fun and intense at times. It really feels like somewhere in the middle between Nioh and Sekiro somewhere in the middle. The story is decent for a westerner (US) player learning much more on the mythology of Wukong's background from Chinese lore. Happy I bought it and haven't beat it yet, as there's a LOT of bosses and fights to go.

• Art/graphics - Amazing
  
• Combat - Challenging and fun to learn, quality Souls-like contender
  
• Story - Seems good, can tell some is cultural disconnection from western background, but I am eating it up still.
  
• Level design - Mostly good, some odd invisible walls come up and then suddenly aren't in some of the layouts, secrets found/missed with this one.

My favorite purchase for 2024, highly recommend playing and dying till you get that boss down dopamine first time!

Game is fun for about 2 hours then it's just meh

RTS is dying, this keeps it alive a bit longer, fun massive scale if you like Supreme Commander/Total Annihilation types.

It's like if Borderlands and Destiny made a baby. Lots of dopamine grind and upgrades and variety of mission types and classes (Warframes) I wish I fell in love with it sooner. Having a blast! Err wait.. maybe I'll try a bow, err melee.. agh..
