This game looks promising. Looking forward to what it'll become.

The only problem with this game is that every other game in the genre gets compared to this one (and its predecessor). People say about good games, "Look at the state of Hades/Hades II in early access and [another good game]!", "It's worse compared to Hades II!"

Of course it is. The bar is too high now.

This game is a masterpiece.

Good mod

This is the only game I played this year that came out in 2023. So, that's "Game of the Year" for me, I guess. Now give me my badge.

I have no clue how this game is 96% overwhelmingly positive.
The game is very simple: you run around, kill monsters and try to not die. Nothing special, really. It gets repetative very quickly. There are very few locations, and the only thing that changes about them is loot placement. There aren't many different enemy types either. I think after 8 hours I've seen everything that game can give me, except a few locked characters and some hidden locations.
People say that game offer great replayability, but I can't see that. The only thing that changes between runs is what items you gather, and essentially they don't change gameplay in any way, it's all just numbers. So I can't see myself playing this game for tens of hours. Maybe I'll try different characters but that's it.
Still, I had some fun, and the game is fine.

I love every aspect of this game. Gathering resources, building your base, unlocking tech tree, running around in your mechsuit and using its abilities, defending from hordes of wild alien animals, exploring new areas - everything is fun and you can alternate between those activities if you got bored of doing something for a while.
Game looks great visually, I love all those vibrant colors.
Story is not really important, but dialogues between main character and her AI are ok, I enjoyed them and voice acting as well.
Getting 100% achievements is relatively easy. There are no time-sinks or achievements that require high difficulties, I completed all of them in two playthroughs.
There weren't many technical issues after the release, game feels very polished, which is getting more and more rare in our age of unfinished releases.
You can play demo for free which is also great. I think you'll understand right away if this game is for you or not. After playing the demo I bought it instantly and didn't regret it at all.
