I have a dream that one day Bad Rats will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all 10 specialist rats are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the third level of this game, the sons of former Fat Rats and the sons of former Tractor Rats will be able to sit down together at the table of rats.

I have a dream that one day even on Level 16, a level sweltering with the heat radiating from Fat Rat, sweltering with difficulty, will be transformed into an oasis of realistic physics simulation and "Comic cartoon violence and cartoon blood".

I have a dream that my four little Fat Rats will one day live in a level in Bad Rats where they will not be judged by the value of their trading card on Community Marketplace, but by the utility toward defeating the cat.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Level 22, with its cat, with its 10 vicious specialist rats having their lips dripping with the words of "terrorism" and "tractor" -- one day right there little Vacuum Rats and Terrorist Rats will be able to join paws with tractor rats and archer rats toward defeating the cat, as teammates.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every cat shall be crushed, and every level of Bad Rats played, and the crooked speed-run attempts will be made straight; and the glory of the game shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the game with.

With this faith, we will be able to launch Bad Rats together, to play together, to lose levels together, to win together, to speed run together, knowing that we will LAN party, playing Bad Rats in the name of brotherhood one day.

And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's rats will be able to sing with new meaning:

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of rats, of thee I sing. Land where my cats died, land of the Fat Rat's pride, From every level, let cat-killing begin!

And if Bad Rats is to be a great game, this must become true.
