VIRTUA FIGHTER IS FINALLY BACK

Dragon Ruins II takes everyone from the previous game, and improves on it by quite a lot. Multiple dungeons, and quests to dive into, paired with the team building, and gearing aspect already has me hooked. I'm still on my first playthrough and thinking about what teams I'd like to try in the future. The atmosphere really hooks me in a special way not many games do, and the music is a huge part of it. The track "Stars over Faselei" is such a hauntingly beautiful track that invokes a sense of sadness, but also the will to keep persevering through dungeon after dungeon, like our party is fated to do. The gameplay itself is just as fun as the first game, it is mostly automated with the exception of the new united attack skill, which is a welcome addition. I'm only about five hours in, so I've still got a handful more dungeons to see, but I very much recommend the game - especially if you were already a fan of the original. Every new feature is an upgrade in every way possible. Fantastic game!

I used to like YIIK ironically, but now with I.V I really do think it's a genuinely great game. Fully recommend it.

I like this game! No, it's not just a Runescape clone, it's quite different, so if you're expecting that, please know that's not what you're getting in for. The problem I see people talking about a lot is how your skills change in different zones, which is a valid complaint. Personally, I don't mind it - the game is built this way and I initially hated it from reading about it, in practice it does work much better than I thought, but again, I can totally understand why people wouldn't enjoy it. The questing has been super enjoyable so far, and sitting around, fishing with everyone, occasionally striking up a conversation has been a joy that I haven't felt in an MMO in quite some time. Do I like it enough to pay for the sub? I can't quite say yet, but at this rate, I think I will. It's free, so I say it's worth giving it a shot, just go in with an open mind and try to enjoy it.

It's been a long eight years, but Project Re Fantasy is finally real, and it was completely worth the wait.

Absolutely fantastic collection. They did a great job and translating the touch screen aspects to playing on controller, surprisingly well even. The game comes with tons of tidbits to enjoy including tons of high quality art, scans of the manuals, and even a music player with customizable playlists. The real treat is the packed in Haunted Castle, the very challenging arcade exclusive title, as well as a complete remake of the game, which looks and feels amazing to play, with an entirely new soundtrack to go along with it. I've played through Haunted Castle Revisited multiple times already, it's just so much fun. I hope maybe they'll let the same team try their hands at a future Castlevania game, that would be really nice to see!

Amazing game, dumped over 150 hours into the Switch version. So thankful I never have to touch this game on that awful piece of hardware ever again. Looking forward to 200+ hours of Vengeance!
