This game is rather fun!
The simplicity of the game makes it easy to pick up and play but it very quickly ramps up in difficulty and becomes extremely difficult. Thankfully the game allows you to play levels on lower difficulties albeit getting less exp. You unlock songs through leveling up, the better you do, the more exp you get, the more you level up. With that out of the way, pros and cons.

Pros:

Easy to pick up and play, difficult to put down (just one more level, I promise)

Cute artstyle (a little risque for some at times but what do you expect? It's a japanese anime phone game ported to a pc)

The music overall is good if you are into upbeat jrock, jpop, etc but it isn't all the game offers in terms of music.

Diverse range of options for controls and finer tweaking such as offsetting the response time on your clicks to hit the buttons on time more.

Achievements in each song to strive for, some being odd like getting hit a lot of times. It keeps you replaying the level!

Lots of cute characters to play as

It's only 3 dollars. If you end up not liking the game, you are only set back a few bucks. The game has a lot of dlc if you do end up liking it though.

Cons:

The music can be pretty hit or miss, if you like a lot of more typical anime music, then you are good to go, you can also expect some Jazz, Rock, etc, so it stays fresh

All the girls have bonuses set to them, which may make you have to play as a girl you don't like for an added bonus you do want (This could have easily been remedied by unlocking the buffs and girls separately.) There are little follower buddies that are on their own, so that's nice.

Gets very difficult: For some this may not deter you, it didn't deter me, but it asks a lot of you, if you like a more casual rhythm game I'd maybe check something else out, late game gets brutal.

Broken English and misinterpreted tips due to poor translation. The translation of this game is pretty straight forward, so certain things are phrased weirdly. Personally I got a laugh out of this.

Overall, a fun, happy, and cute rhythm game that is super easy to pick up but super hard to master. It's a nice change of pace from my usual diet of games, so this may be right for you.
