Fantastic in its detail, options, characters, settings, depth, and style. The only game where I would not only get to participate in debates over the Protestant Reformation but also argue the merits of different styles of manuscript illumination while solving mysteries.

Even so many years later, RtCW runs excellent and is extremely rewarding. Great shooting mechanics, awesome locations and levels, crazy enemies, and a kickass story. If you can't enjoy this, you're beyond help.

One of the best high fantasy games available on Steam, period. Really astonishing how this game accomplished back then what so many games are still struggling to do now in terms of interesting narrative, environments that you ENJOY interacting with, and a physical feel to the movement. It's pretty much impossible to think anything less than highly of this game even if your first time playing it is in 2021.
