I relived my high school days in the eyes of a time-controlling teenage girl. It was awesome. The story was excellent and immersive, tugging at some heartstrings as it came closer and closer to the end. This game helped me find a reflection of myself with the choices it presented each chapter, and I hope other people get to experiece what Life is Strange brings to the table.

Point-and-click adventure games may not suit all of you, but hear me out, this is coming from a guy who has not watched the show nor read much of the comics. This game is amazing. Sure, there may be a lack of action (it's a point-and-click adventure), but the story is there, and oh man, what a beautiful story, some parts just get you in the gut. The game is told in the perspective of the protagonist Lee, and you immerse yourself through his perspective; Lee becomes more of a game character, he becomes a reflection of you. Your decisions affect how the game is told out, and every decision has its pros and cons in this ruthless world. There is no "good" or "evil" choice, rather a series of all difficult, all-have-cons, decisions. This game is outstanding.

Ready for the gameplay controls in a nutshell? Left, Right, Action. That's it. Challenging platformer where the conventions of jumping are nay in this game's dimension. Instead of jumping, there's a shift gravity mechanic in place, and you traverse the game only able to shift gravity up or down. What becomes a simple block in the way of your path (that you would normally jump over in other platformers) becomes a complicated, skill-based myriad of dodging spikes and other hazards, and you begin a love-hate relationship with this mechanic. Experience this game, and enjoy the satisfaction stemming from navigating a tricky part of this platformer.

Veni, vidi, vici...
