I honestly cannot say how I feel about this game, and to delve into details would spoil it, so I will make it short and sweet:

Buy this game, and play this game.

It is short, it is profound, it is above all human.

Just play it.

THe greatest console port I've ever seen. Incredibly optimised as well, runs everything on high at 45 fps on my crappy 550ti. Incredibly fun, to boot. My only complaints are the lack of manual save and the pretty bad cover system. Also, to anyone else who was having trouble with your controller, try waiting to plug it in to your computer until the game gets to the main menu.

Graphics-9/10 Foxengine is incredibly beutiful, and will run well on anything.
Length-8/10 Short, but sweet, and makes you excited for Phantom Pain. Plus, the Extras and Side Ops add a lot of replayability.
Sound-9/10 All characters, even guards, sound great. Kiefer Sutherland is no Hayter, but he does a surprisingly good job as Big Boss. Gun sounds are crisp, and music is amazing.
Gameplay-8/10 Great controls and everything feels great. However, the cover system is not great and you often pop out in front of a guard when you don't mean to. Also sometimes guards can see you through stuff. Gunplay is a little strange, but it should be, as it isn't a shooter, it's a stealth game. You didn't see great gunplay in SC: Chaos Theory, and that's one of the greatest stealth games of all time.
OVERALL-8.5/10
I would reccomend this game to any Metal Gear fan, or fans of stealth games in general. This definitely goes up there with Chaos Theory and Mark of the Ninja as one of my all time favorite stealth games. If you haven't played a Metal Gear game before, however, I'm not sure if you would like ths however.

I absolutely can't wait for Phantom Pain. Here's to you, Kojima, and here's to Snake's spectacular return to PC.

Really, really good. Probably the best sandbox I've ever played. A little bit clunky in some areas (Pressing C for sights?) but it truly is a good game, and can run well on any computer. The storyline sucks, and the voice acting is laughable, but who cares? You know why you you should buy it? Just cause!

Early Access Review
DO YOU LOVE AMERICA?

DO YOU LOVE EXPLOSIONS?

DO YOU LOVE PATRIOTICALLY EXPLODING TERRORRISTS?

Then you'll love broforce!

In all seriousness, this is probably the best sidescroller I've ever played, and a damn good shooter at that.
All characters have strengths and weaknesses, and are very balanced.
Online play needs a little help, but hey! It's early access.
I can't wait til the BroFort comes out, and I'm crossing my fingers for workshop support!

PROS:
Incredibly fun
Gory as hell
Lots of characters (with more on the way)
Normally faux 8 bit in indie games bugs me, but it is used well here
Local Coop is the best in almost any PC game I've ever played

CONS:
Online is weak, as is VS mode
Still a few bugs (early access)
A lot better with an Xbox gamepad (which I fortunately had)
MacBrover doesn't look like MacGyver
You have to try to make up cons for an incredible game

If you are thinking about it, buy it. Just do it. You won't regret it!

It might have been good back in 1999, but it really hasn't aged as well as it's brother, Counter Strike 1.6, has. I probably wouldn't buy it again, but that might just be because I'm so used to tf2.
