I almost never leave real reviews for games. This is an exception due to the other reviews that everyone else is leaving.
The first thing that I want to say is that according to some reviews that other people have left, this appears to not work on some VR headsets or with some controllers. All I can say is that I have the HTC Vive with the vive controllers, and it works perfectly for me.
TLDR: The game has many flaws, but I do recommend it if you like borderlands 2.

Next I want to talk about the complaints that I have. To say that the port into VR is perfect would be far from the truth. There are several issues that I have with it. The first is the one that I have seen the most comments about, and that is the hand size. I have to agree that this is very weird, and I don't understand why the hands are so large. I'm willing to guess that this has something to do with the size in the original borderlands 2 scaling. However, I only really notice this issue in the menus. After playing the game for a while, it starts to appear almost normal, therefore I don't see this as a very large problem overall. it also seems like you aren't always aiming where you think you are in game (menu is definitely weird), but I'm thinking that is just me being bad. The main problem that I have with the hands is really the fact that they are just floating in space. I find this to be very awkward looking. In Skyrim VR, I was fortunate enough to find a mod that fixes this glaring issue, maybe someone will make a mod for this game that also fixes that problem.

The next issue that I have is probably my biggest complaint. Scoped weapons. These are implemented horribly. I find that they are implemented so poorly, that using a sniper rifle to actually do long ranged combat is completely impossible. What they should have done is allowed you to move the gun to your face and it will look like you are zooming in with it. Instead, there is this large ugly box that appears, and everything inside looks like the graphics quality has dropped in half (maybe I have a wrong setting or something, I don't know). This to me is the biggest problem that the game faces in terms of actual gameplay. Hopefully this is patched in the future or something, because I cannot stress enough how much I dislike how scoping in works. I understand that it can be turned off in the settings, but then if your gun is supposed to have zoom, you can't benefit from it.

Another issue that I take is the controls. Why can I not modify the controls to how I want them? This is only a minor concern for me because I find that once you mess around and find the correct comfort settings and controls settings, it usually works pretty well, but I would like the option to configure the controls to my own taste. If there is a way to do this that I am simply missing, please feel free to let me know. I found that the default controls and comfort settings were not all that good, so make sure you change these to how you want them before actually getting into the actual game. I don't see this as a huge negative, it's just a minor inconvenience if anything.

My final issue that I take is a little bit weird. When playing as Maya, the siren, I found using her ability to be incredibly awkward. For some reason, it never goes where I think that it should. I have no clue why it isn't based on where you're aiming your gun, instead it seems to be centered on your headset. Not only that, but the hit detection seems buggy at best. This isn't a huge concern, it's just something that I noticed. I recommend playing a different character if this seems like it would bother you.

Now that I've ranted about all the things that I dislike, it probably seems like I don't recommend this game, even though I gave it a positive rating. The thing is though, I really do recommend this game. It's hard to talk about the positives because the positives really come down to a few simple things, like the fact that it's borderlands 2, but this time, in VR! That's really cool, but not much of a general positive, so let me talk about the positives for a bit.

The first major positive is the game itself (didn't I just say this?). Borderlands 2 easily makes it into my list of top 3 favorite games of all time. Getting to experience it in VR is a lot of fun. After messing around with the comfort settings, it started to feel really good. I felt like I really was on Pandora. Aiming does feel pretty good when you're not using a scope, and the way the recoil works makes it just feel nice (one minor thing that I want to say is that it seems like your first shot is affected by the recoil which I don't love, but isn't a problem overall). You're not going to be nearly as accurate as compared to playing with keyboard and mouse, but that's just how VR works (at least in my mind, call me out if I'm just bad at the game or something).

The next major positive is the fact that the game does appear to come with all of the DLC. When i first got this game, I had to pay $60 just for the game, then I don't remember how much all the DLC was, but the point is that this is only $50. yeah, it's still a lot, don't get me wrong, but it's still a good deal ignoring the fact that the game is pretty old. The game still holds up in my mind, so it's definitely worth the price.

Another positive is the weird time slowing ability. I haven't used it too much, and most of the times was on accident because I clicked it instead of my ability, but it seems to be a useful feature. There are times when everything is going super fast, so I don't have the time to really see what my health/shields are. It would probably be easier if I used this feature, so I'll probably mess around with it more. The best part about this feature though is that you don't need to use it. If you think it makes the game too easy, then just don't use it. The game is perfectly playable without it.

Overall, I think the positives greatly outweigh the negatives because the negatives that I have are mostly just what I believe to be minor inconveniences. hopefully the game gets patched in the future to make it a little better because it really isn't perfect. They could definitely improve the game a lot. This really was a long-winded review, and I probably mentioned more negatives than positives, but that's just because I really like borderlands 2 and I feel like I need to be critical of this so that it hopefully does get improved in the future. Thanks for sticking with me, and I hope that this review helped in some meaningful way.

Edit: I forgot to mention that there is no running in the game, and I hope that this is added in the future because... WHY???? Game is still worth it though.

My roommate and one of his other friend recommended this game to me. Since it was free, I decided to try it. I found that, unfortunately, this is one of the worst games I have ever played. I expected this game to be either funny or scary. It was neither of those things. The game is just walking through the same 10 or so rooms 1000 times. The jump scares stopped "spooking" me after the first 10. The game became just running through the rooms as quickly as possible after the first 100 rooms. Even once I realized how bad the game was, I figured it deserved the benefit of the doubt. I figured that it must have either a really funny ending, or it might start to get scary at some point. Neither of these things happened. The ending was completely lacking. It was not funny. I undestand that the game isn't supposed to be serious, but no matter how one looks at it, it needed something. The only thing about the game that was semi funny were the notes that were left behind. Those, however, got old after some time. I hate to say so many bad things about a game that so many people seem to enjoy, but this is truly one of the worst games I have played.

Was unsure at first, but I saw the 98% positive reviews so I gave it a chance. Now forced to talk like a cheesy 80's cop. 11/10 would recommend.

To say that this game makes sense would be a lie. Well, no that's a lie, it half makes sense, but then again, it doesn't. It is a great puzzle game and will make you continue to walk in circles, even though you swear you are going straight. All in all, its a great game. So get it, or die. :) -Albert Einstein
