Good gameplay, a good live service and hours of fun to be had behind the walls of Helldivers 2. A glorious community to match, pairing up with a game that has great design all around. I couldn't wish for anything more. Game of the year in my heart no mater what.

Good twist on the deck builder Rouge-like genre, well done sound track and an art style that stands out. I used to be touchy about deck builders but there is so much to do. Maybe a little too much, but I'm enjoying the little grind as I go. I've already gotten my 20 dollars worth.

There are an near overwhelming combination of play styles to play each character. I had a rough time trying to figure out how effective they were unless the character I was playing as had most of the unlocks available or I went for a safer build instead for that respective character.

If you're not afraid to try new deck builders then give it a shot!

A top down class based rogue like shooter with a killer synthwave vibe. Combat is a symphony of weaving through gunfire and meeting it with your own payload from your arsenal and abilities. Become lost in the build possibilities, meet some familiar faces from the original Synthetik and take down the machine legion.

-Solid gunplay: despite it being a top down shooter, the feedback and sounds just feel right when firing a weapon. Using Class abilities can be a curve but that feels like part of the game play and I'm used to experimenting in rogue likes. I feel like items are simply a side note. Example, theres a Red button item that when pressed, the only way you'd know it was pressed is if you see it raise your terror level or had looked at other player's items, at least you see more experience gained on it. Though I can for give that since item responsiveness seems hit or miss, not everything has to be flashy.

-Graphics: It won't amaze you but if you're no used to how flashy and quick paced the game is supposed to be then it can be a lot to take in and respond to. Some of the in game gun models won't match their art that you see, I personally can forgive it because I'm not magnifying my character and inspecting every bit like a professional armorer.

-Difficulty: Its a rogue like, you will die a lot, things will move faster than you can calculate sometimes, three fully armed androids will rush you with whatever the futuristic equivalent of an AA12 is and perforate your CPU. Synthetik can and will body you when you least expect it. Often I expect this of any game of the genre and it shouldn't dissuade anyone.

Sound design: I've already touched on these, the soundtrack is kick ass, the guns are rad. It all melds together pretty well save for a few lulls here and there. Occasionally I've had audio bugs, music not playing, a sound getting stuck.

Conclusion: The first Synthetik quite literally suplexed my will into purchasing the second. I can recommend both titles and if I could package them together I would. Staying with the game's development, it has improved so much over time and with its full release there is always more to come. The small team working on this pours their soul out to deliver something that feels great to play and fun to master.

Come play Vermintide 2! We have a wonderful cast of characters like... Man who Slays with sword and his stache alike, he likes hats. Kill it with Fire lady, she is neato. Mad because short, glad because beard man. Elf 2 edgy 4 U, pick what flavor of edge you are today. And one eyed NO heresy allowed man, he has a lot of guns.

Thats a total of 5 CHARACTERS!!!!

Join in rounds of jolly cooperation with friends or strangers to slay the bad guys including... Rat furries, The main squeeze of the first game. Mad because smelly got mens. And the ACTUAL HERETICS OF CHAOS! Experience hours of free content and seasonal updates along side a progression system throughout the game. There is like, 15+ CLASSES you can unlock and more weapons than you'll know what to do with. More than enough to maim an entire army of bad dudes. YOU CAN LITERALLY RUN SHIRTLESS INTO BATTLE AS ONE OF THE CLASSES.

Have I forgotten?! Once you are a decent enough level you feel like you can do no more, theres LOADS of fancy weapons and fancy hats to unlock! So comon lets all slay some enemies, earn some loot and get cheaped out of high tier chests by some mean man named Ranald. Or perhaps impress them in the new chaos wastes! Careful, some of the areas are a bit smelly...

I've never poured so much time into a game by simply wondering "how will this run go?". I've had highs where I've been 16 teleporters in and I finally got that one achievement. I've had lows where I've died 2 stages in. Thats why Risk of Rain 2 has the cut of a great roguelike. Its not ultra flashy and theres options to play solo or with who ever you can find. Absolutely worth the 20 dollars. I could even imagine myself pumping nearly 500 hours into this title given time because I keeps me coming back since it just scratches a serious itch when I think of replayability.

.... But I will still hate Flaming Stone Titans. Those smug stone jerks think they're better than me just because they can obliterate my entire 2.5K of HP late in my run with their lasers. I swear I will get a run in where I'm one shotting pebbles like you....

Imagine if you would... Moments into SCP and chill. Spawn as NTF, entire team is RUNNING, JUMPING, SCREAMING NTF! We make our way into the entrance zone. Team sees Intercom door open. And its a mad dash to REEE into the intercom as horribly as possible. Mission is acomplished... goes back to com room exit, SCP-079 has locked us all in. Moments later, Plague Docter clenses most of us. You win this round computer...

9/10 would Secure. Contain. Protect again.

I like the game, its complete fun to play as both monster and hunter. It is one of many of the co-op gameplay people are looking for yet sadly its price tag is too much for an extra monster or a hunter. those who boaght into the digital deluxe edition had probably already gotten close to it being worth it. It might not be enough though to please the typical brower of steam that sifts through sales daily or pinches pennies or is just on a budget in general. People are also sharks in that once something gets too tedious or too pricey, they will down vote it immeadiatly. Truely the joke is on them. They bought it, installed it and now they reget it. I for one will at least keep my pride to say Turtle Rock made a great game. over priced yet still good. If you honestly have to feel butthurt about price to write a one sentance "review" to donvote it solely upon your own experiences and price, once more. DON'T. Save it for games that are honest to god Pewdiebait.

Now go forward and flame as you please. I will be honest it wouldn't surprise me.

Whats the point of writing a negative review about a game that is worth the price it seems, I payed 2 bucks and thats what I got! two bucks of fun. Honestly I'd be more than happy to play more as it gets updated. Its simply, a little tedious at times and the day/ night goes so fast I feel like other certain actions, like digging need the same speed up... but over all. Yeah the game is just that. so take the sticks out of your butts, downvotes and take my review with a grain of salt. Its not bad but its not like its the best game on steam EVER.

5 bucks for the in game money? Sure and and linking it with my steam you say?! Why not!!! Best Theatrical theme simulator 2015.

In all reality I've played this game in browser since beta and I was more than willing to pay for a more stable platform of the game rather then allowing a browser to run it time to time. but you basicly pay for ingame cash with the steam version. Basicly its an even better way to help and support your favorite Werewolf table top/ card game simulator but online. Perfect ly presented here, with the Steam one you can by a character or a character death animation and what not. I would pay 10 dollars I like the game so much already. Can't wait for the Vapire/ Vampire hunter update too

Honestly, this game deserves a good 8/10
-can be manipulated by skyping with friends/ twitch (or steam) broadcasters.
