When I first launched the game up, I was expecting nothing more than Super Mario 64, it did not dissapoint. From having to have two hands on the keyboard to obtain a truffle, to the locked 30fps that I am graced with on an obselite 144htz monitor. This game proves that 1024x1024 is still beautiful, and no matter how pixelated the textures are and how much your character resembles a doorstop. The presicion platforming and the superb mechanics show that this game has truly raised the bar for a modern platformer

PROS:
-controls
-performance on ANY machine
-30fps locked gives me the true console experience
-completely immersive, might as well be VR
-4:3 aspect ratio really fills up my ultrawide when stretched to the point of being unrecongnizable

CONS:
-I was erect the entire time
