This game is really good, except it's not.

it's got some fantastic promise, and it's detail is fantastic, that is why this game will be great! However in it's current state it needs a lot more time in the cooker.

It's mechanics are simple, farm, build, research, farm some more. But once you understand the basics of it, it's a pretty easy, unbalanced game. The current AI is mediocre at best.

It's more of a tower defence game then a strategic RTS Space simulator with AI that tracks you across the map without much care for the strategy you commit to.

You won't know how the controls and systems work without deep diving onto a discord.

Learning how the mechanics work in this game leave have been left entirely up the imagination of the gamer on how this works.

Early Access that should really still be in a Demo stage.

Manor Lords is a breath of fresh air in the settlement-building genre. It skillfully blends economic micromanagement with strategic military considerations, creating a deeply engaging and diverse gameplay experience. Your creativity is your greatest asset, allowing you to shape your settlement into a thriving medieval hub.

While currently a strong contender for the genre's crown, Manor Lords hints at even greater potential. Future updates should prioritize expanding content while staying true to the historical period. Drawing inspiration from pre-unified England's factions and regions, introducing mounted units, and learning from the complexity of titles like Age of Empires could elevate the military aspect.

The game could also benefit from sandbox elements like late-game ore regeneration and more nuanced farming mechanics. However, these are minor points in a game brimming with promise.

Manor Lords is a fantastic title, well worth your time and support. It's a testament to the developer's talent, and I eagerly await its evolution.

It's a really fun game! It is Early Access so don't expect a full fleshed out game. But it's mechanics feel good, the gunplay is nice.

Give if it a few days or weeks and this game should be epic.

It's okay. But its not worth the hype.

The game play is difficult and can quickly spiral but once you have a basic grasp on it. It's very very repetitive and easy. The AI is janky as all ♥♥♥♥. It's less of a hardcore survival game and more of a figure out how to just exploit everything because it's not balanced. There isn't a real challenge except, don't get caught out.

There also isn't really a lot of gameplay in it to be honest, it felt very very empty from its core game loops.

A real shame. Unplayable game.

Major Issues:
- No Ultra-wide support
- Settings adjustment is not possible without crashes.
- No an MMO. It's an extraction shooter. False Advertising 101.
- No Melee combat at all
- No ability to interact with enviroment I.e Doors

Minor Issues:
- Not enough servers
- Clunky movement

A really fun game that is riddled with crashing issues.

If you can get past some of the silly mistakes in the gameplay surrounding consumption of items, storage and what not You will have a blast.

Mods help a lot and honestly most of the core mods that are popular on the workshop should be part of the base game.

Although it is out of E.A it doesn't feel like it. It really could be a top tier game with a little bit of focus on the real issues, not DLC and fancy robots.

The biggest issue this game has is the constant crashing. I crash every 1-2 hours sometimes more. It's not a PC issue, i'm running a high end rig and monitoring via MSi Afterburner.

It seems to crash a lot due to camera angles and graphic issues that arise.

60 hours in I will continue to play the game as it really is fun, but I can't recommend the game as great or finished by any stretch of the imagination. It's just the best in this niche category.

I have played Day Z for years. I have 4000 hours in Day z Arma II mod and I thought that by 2023 they might have seriously improved the game.

But it still plays like crap, the game play loops are tediously boring. Loot spawns are just not consistent and it really feels like something made around 2010...

Mods are the only thing really keeping it alive and even they don't truly fix what is missing from this in a modern game.

Guns that spawn with no ammo? Houses completely empty of loot or have the same 15 coat spawns.

It's just missing a dynamic loot table and a modern looting system where items are scarce but not barren and illogically placed.

To me, after many hours have to say I am just disappointed this game never fulfilled what a good dedicated team could have made it.

TLDR:

It's buggy, it's bland, it's dated and it's unfinished.

They designed an MMO game for the everyday gamer to get into and enjoy, Except nobody but people who have the ability to join in the morning and middle of the day can play.

Real shame this launch was an absolute flop. Maybe it will be playable in a month or two for the majority.

Absolutely love this game.

Yes there are issues, as with almost any game on the market.

The dev team isn't super experienced in some gameplay decision making but it doesn't ruin the game.

Really enjoy my time on this especially playing solo! 9/10
