Except for the mini games, which were shockingly bad, I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I love that not every ending is happy, it was very realistic. There's a dad here for everyone; my favourite was Damien. I didn't expect the game to be so funny; I kept literally laughing out loud. I highly recommend it :D

I was in on the Kickstarter for this game so I was really excited when it came out. However, it was buggy so I didn't get very far. My daughter managed to play it and she loved it. Today I thought I'd try it again. After all these years it should be fine, right? They surely would have fixed all of the problems by now. I got as far as placing furniture before my game got stuck in furniture mode. I nearly called it quits then but I love the aesthetic and cats so much, so I tried one more time and it happened AGAIN. I give up. Don't buy this. The bugs are game-breaking, not just funny. So disappointed.

Bought this on sale for my train-crazy little girl for her birthday, and she loves it. She creates beautiful bridges and sets up awesome railroads that seem to defy gravity--all without having to drag out her Thomas tracks in real life on days when we really don't have time to deal with them! We all enjoy the beautiful scenery, which is better quality than we expected. I like that it is a very creative game and is slow moving--very appropriate for a child and relaxing for an adult.
But, and this is a big "but," the game seems to be full of glitches and it crashes every time she plays, which of course really takes away from the fun. Luckily she is little enough to not get too invested and does not mind redoing everything, but I think an older child would find this very off-putting. An adult might get positively livid. So save early and often if you want to play this game, or just forget it and invest in some real life, 3-d railroad tracks and some Trackmaster engines to trip over and enjoy. Or do both. lol
Recommended with reservations for all ages, provided that little ones have an adult to read the instructions and help with the monetary aspects, of course. Due to the glitches, I'd definitely advise waiting until it is on sale! Sadly, I cannot say that this game is worth full price as it is.
