I started playing this game on launch day back in 2018, and since then this game has improved a lot. The NPC's added by Wastelanders are memorable, the quests have actual choices and consequences, and stat-based dialog checks are back. If you liked Fallout 4, you'll probably like Fallout 76 where it is today.

With no way of obtaining certain items without atoms, this seems pretty rubbish. Add them in for free, take away the premium currency and lower the price to £30 and lower the price of FO1st to £5 for a year or hey just allow private servers for free. THEN and only then will this game be respectful in any way.

the microtransactions do not offer any faster progressing or anything like that just few minor advantages. the only gameplay stuff you can buy are repair kits and scrap kits (which just repair your armor and weapons and scrap kits just scrap your junk and send it to your stash) and a robot that walks around collects junk for you. and fallout 1st gives you a little portable camp. thats probably all gameplay advantages you can get with microtransactions.

You don't need anything from the atom shop to beat the game, when I first played it over a year ago I spent zero dollars on the atom shop and still got to level 100. All the NPCs that I've encountered have full voice acting like in ESO.

Can you get to endgame fairly without micro transaction and subscription? Do all NPCs have voice acting like in ESO?

you can literally ignore the microtransactions.. and even then, you earn atoms just by playing the game and the game isnt even full price on steam... you can easily get the game for like 15-20 dollars as well..
