it's alright

Fun. Need at least 3 people to consistently play with for effective gameplay. You either feel like Captain Jacksparrow as you take out hammerhead after hammerhead, or you're at each others throats when a silent public player starts secretly causing reactor meltdowns your whole game.

Dev took 5 hero doses of LSD and decided to recreate Devil Daggers while under the influence.

WWII. Intense. Graphic. Good gameplay. Communicate with your squad.

You and a couple dwarf fellas pummel galactic aliens underground in the pursuit of getting rich. For rock... and STONE.
High replayability horde game. All microtransactions are cosmetic. Can't lose progress by playing. Barrels included.

Good core game content but is currently riddled with performance / stability issues. Seems that everyone experiences server-side disconnects every 10-30 minutes on most servers, which ultimately is killing the games playability when a full 64 person server can't continue a Conflict operation for longer than a few minutes at a time.

Purchasing the game is basically supporting the development of Arma Reforger (Hopefully into Arma 4. If you want a stable game that you can play for longer than 30 minutes on most servers, I would wait a couple months before purchasing.

F2P Perspective. I'm about 60 hours into the game, some amount from a few years ago, but most recently in the last few weeks. Mostly play realistic ground battles.

The grind is real, and there is no way around that. This is a grinding game, so if you aren't contempt with running the same battle lineups for long periods of time, then you'll likely find yourself upgrading to premium or not enjoying the game. I've switched between the German and Russian factions, both with very large libraries. I'm not a very good player, however it is obvious that as the scaling required for research increases with tiers, it will likely be literal days of game time to reach new content. It's a fun game and I've loved it so far, so I might buy premium to improve the grind as I can afford it, however I'll caution and say the majority of pricing in this game is insane. The new A10 jet is $60 alone.

With all that being said, there are numerous factions to play around in, and it takes relatively little time to unlock to tier 2 / tier 3 tech. You will eventually have to choose a single faction to play if you'd ever like to see the more modern lineups.

Sidenote: They removed the chat from the game, likely because of the current war and political conversations taking place in game. For a game based around the historic development of military through past wars, I find it ironic they disable chat due to this.

Bad community, annoying kids, a lot of foreigners on American servers. Community server staff are generally basement dwellers and haven't felt the warmth of a woman's touch in years, from what I've gathered. Overall an OK game
