In the upcoming update, it's mandatory to register a PSN account by June 4th. Considering how long the game existed without this requirement, it's ridiculous and a slap in the face to the buyers.

Fine, let's say I went to register, but interestingly, Sony doesn't recognize the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and there's no Kazakhstan in PSN (among others). What region should I choose then?

Oh yeah, they're forcing us into PSN due to "security reasons." Need a reminder of how many times PSN got hacked and users' banking data got stolen?

Update: The game is pulled from sale in all countries without PSN (over 170). Brilliant move, Sony! By trying to push everyone into PSN, you've deprived yourself of revenue, flushed your reputation down the drain, and severely undermined the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima. Should've just left things alone. Only reinforced suspicions of your persistent desire to make PS Plus subscription mandatory for online gaming in the future.

P.S. Steam approves refunds for any number of hours played, but not for everyone. Go ahead, CIS brethren!
