This game is absolutely adorable. It's really easy to pick up, but each different character and challenge run adds depth to the gameplay. A run through the dungeon doesn't take too long, so it's a fun game to pick up for 15-20 minutes at a time. I especially enjoy how picking up equipment gradually means that you will eventually land on a "build" for that particular run that feels organic and natural, rather than trying to pre-plan anything before you go in. An extremely well polished game with great characterization of enemies.

It's like the first one, but more. I did two simultaneous playthroughs of low chaos, no kill, no detection, and then would replay the mission in high chaos so I really feel I saw everything this game had to offer, and it was very fun in both playthroughs. Would recommend.

I went into this game knowing only that it implemented a non-standard control scheme. However, what I found was not just a gimmick but a well-rounded and polished game. There is really no part of this game that I disliked. The art is unique and beautiful, and with the camera allowing you to fully take in the scope of the scenery. The world is populated with interesting creatures and people, both in design and in action. The world of these two brothers is both vibrant and disturbing, and despite the small personal story being told, you really get a sense that there are much larger events taking place in this world.

Despite no understandable dialogue, you really get a sense of characterization of the two brothers and how they are different. As well, their relationship and love carries through. Drifting too far away and having them call out to each other feels genuine. The story is a relatively simple one, but it is executed very well. And without spoiling the story, near the end the control scheme really moves away from gimmick and becomes woven into the story seamlessly.

I really enjoyed everything about this game. The music and sounds were haunting, yet fit perfectly with the atmosphere. The variety of set pieces for the different chapters really showed off a great deal of variety. Even the achievements are not difficult or lengthy, but merely require taking a few seconds to explore the depth of the world.

I cannot recommend this game enough. It is well worth both the price and your time.

It seems that this game was largely forgetable for most people, which is a shame since it's really wonderful. The missions are entirely open, with multiple ways to complete each objective. You can be a stealth assassin, silently killing everyone. You can go in guns and powers blazing. You can be completely unseen, refusing to harm anyone.

The abilities and weapons each provide a new and unique dynamic. So often you've given an ability but never actually use it since your default works so well, but I found myself actually using almost all of the powers on any given mission.

The setting is rich, giving you a real solid understanding of what this world is about. I'm not a fan of steampunk but I still enjoyed the visuals of the game very much.

There are some mediocre plot decisions, especially near the end, but the overall gameplay is incredibly fun. Play this game!
