southern love is like walking down the street of the first neighborhood you lived in, the way the wind flows throughout the dying leaves of a fall tree, or how your wife looks at you when you make her laugh. My wife died last year, ever day i wake up still expecting her to be next to me, grasping on to my stand, holding on like its her last morning alive, I think she knew she was going to day that day, or at any moment. We never use to have such a perfect marriage, we would fight, yell at each other, scream, cry. but, for some reason her illness brought us closer. I think about how cuerul the world is sometimes, how it can turn something so ugly into something so beatiful, and elgant. only to rip it away from me, almost as if it was gods ruthless attempt at a prank. "ha! you think you can have a taste of the heavens without earning it?" he would probally yell at me.
