This game is something special. Really unique gameplay, fantastic actors, hilarious writing. There were decisions that had my heart pounding, consequences that had me frozen in shock. There was one point where I screeched "NO WAY..." It's one of those games that sticks with you after you've stopped playing for the night, wondering what's gonna happen next.
I only wish it had a couple more hours of gameplay; I completed my first playthrough (of the base game) in about 9 hours. However, with 14 different endings, multiple DLC broadcasts, and 40+ hours of FMV footage, it definitely holds replay value.
Highly recommended.

I was genuinely surprised to check the release date on this game, and see that it was released in 2022, and not 10 years ago. The humour is really outdated, with words like "doggo" and "friendo", and needlessly aggressive replies that you're forced to choose to advance the story. I get that it's a comedy game, but it's piled on so thickly at times, that it's irritating. The narration and self-talk stuff gets confusing (maybe on purpose?), and the game doesn't explain what the colours of dialogue choices indicate.
I'm not saying this is a bad game, however: the art is great, the concept is hilarious, and the writing is interesting enough to make me keep playing. Cryptids, existential crises, weird dates - love it.
But, man... really, 2022? Doggo? Am I missing the point? Is the cringe intentional? Maybe I'M the cringe?

If you like creature fusion/genetics games (games where you breed creatures for desirable traits, passed onto their offspring), you'll love Wobbledogs. I'm a big fan of Peridot and Flight Rising, and this game gave me the same kind of satisfaction. If any of you are old enough to remember the Petz games (Dogz, Cats), this is super similar. It's like the creators KNEW players would wanna throw the Wobbledogs around, so they made sure to give them adorable panicked faces and make it really satisfying to throw them through the room chutes.
This review sucks because I'm only half-awake, but trust me: this game rules. The only reason I don't have more hours invested into it is because it's EXTREMELY hard for me to pull away from the game, once I start playing. 10/10, good times had, well worth the price!

This game is fantastic. Creative, ridiculous, and the soundtrack... slaps? Is "a bop?" Whatever The Children say now. Really excited to see what this developer makes next.

13 minutes of gameplay, and at the end they just give you a keyword and talk about participating in development of their next games... which are already made. This game is years old by now. Interesting concept, but a complete waste of money considering the project moved on ages ago. Tempted to request a refund, all this did was waste my time. :/

Felt just like getting dumped by my highschool girlfriend again! A+ immersion, would cry again.

I bought this game on a whim, about a year ago, when I was feeling really alone and depressed. I didn't think I'd play for more than an hour or so. But, I find myself coming back to it whenever I'm really down. The music is great, the little rooms are so soothing, and I love that you can collect decorations and send them to people. I really love the screensaver mode. It's nice to leave on in the background and have positive messages from real people come up on the screen in real-time. I highly recommend Kind Words to anyone else that struggles with mental health, is having a tough time, or has space to listen to a stranger and offer support.
