This time the LotR and LEGO fan in me didn't get the upper hand. This game has countless problems, and you will especially encounter them when going for 100% (which I am currently doing).

Puzzle breaking bugs due to graphical errors which makes you have to reload an area or even worse, an entire level. Bad platforming making you retry a climb to a Mithril Brick multiple times due to the character refusing your input, the glitchy semi-fixed camera also won't help when you aren't directly infront of said climable wall. The game also picks-out a roster of character for you to use when free-playing a level. However, not every character that is needed fits on this wheel. Making you have to pick the character yourself. Everytime you switch from this character you have to pick him again if necessary because the game sticks with the characters that were picked-out for you. This is especially tiring when you have to revisit a level multiple times because you missed that last mini-kit at the end of a level.

The game is just way to tedious and finnicky. LEGO games are notorious for there flaws but none I encountered in those other games were as bad as in this one.

A brilliant puzzle game of the highest tier!

What a great game. The story and the puzzles are the two highlights of this game, the visuals are not bad either. The fact that you can play this game in first person makes it way more future-proof. It is also really easy to 100% this game.
You can spend a solid 10-12 hours with this game, so a price of €10,00 is worth it in my book.

For the people complaining about the crashes; Google it first, the game is a decade old yet the solution can both be found in less than a minute.

A unique art style and a compelling story told through flashbacks in this great puzzle game.

The art style is cute, and the characters are charming. Those are the main attractions to this game. On the other side there are tedious (and sometimes even hard) puzzles that require to play the game a total of 3/4 times to complete everything and get the ''good'' ending. Achievements aren't thought out all that great because some just relay on pure luck.

Not worth it! Tried to finish after quitting years ago. Didn't get any farther this time because of the same reasons: a poor story, bugs and infuriating gameplay.

Loved this game! Can't wait for the sequel.

Judging from my hours played you can tell that I enjoyed this game, great level design and a lot of explorability. The planets are filled with puzzles, missions and battles which unlock a whole roster of both characters and ships.

However the actual levels are really short, some can be beat in under 10 minutes. The interludes between the actual levels kinda boost the playtime up a little but not by much. Most of the time you spend on this game goes to exploration, puzzles and collectables.

The downsides of the game are the many crashes and the infinite loading screens which bug the game, It takes a while after you shutdown the game for you to resume playing. Besides this I really enjoyed reliving my childhood.

Would recommend!

What a fun game to play. Graphics are outdated and the controls are clunky but the humour in this game is top shelf.

A beautiful looking game with a great ending!
