Sproggiwood is a post-marxist critique of the late capitalist state. Clog is an examplar of the proletariat, a working class individual who has not befallen the seduction of the commodity fetish. While he treads in gold, this is not for the betterment of only himself but rather for his civilization. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is the philosophy of Clog. In contrast to this is Sproggi, a natural intellectual, deceitful, manipulative, but using these tools to guide the otherwise directionless proletariat (Clog) toward the creation of new worlds and new civilizations. This eco-utopian marxist allegory easily belongs with the likes of Marx and Gramsci.

Also, the turn-based combat is pretty good.
