yeah, this game did exactly what you think it did.

cried. how dare you

this was one of the most immersive beautiful experiences of my life

honestly i don't enjoy this game, but it's impossible to deny the immense amounts of quality and love that go into it.

it's full of personality and the gameplay loop is consistent. buy it

it's so fun, and it's a love letter to 40k.

to me, it only recently released. it was a mess on release but it's excellent now

it's good, but it's a combat arena shooter, not a traditional boomer shooter.

very frustrating as it starts out beautifully like a classic doom level, but it's more akin to DOOM 2016 where you walk in a room, the doors lock, and you kill your way out.

I'm terrible at RTS games but this is so much fun. RISK style campaign, excellent 40k aesthetics perfectly captured, and a really neat Army Painter mode that lets me get my Marines Malevolent into the game

a true sandbox. legit one of the most open ended gaming experiences i've ever had next to garry's mod.

play ANY way you like, and the modding scene is ridiculously good.

this port is kinda ♥♥♥♥ but

this is one of the best games ever made

the soundtrack, setting, graphics, story, all flawless

This game has something really special going on. The final moments of the Area 12 raid are some of the most intense and exciting I've had in a video game. The lore (being based around an excellent article) is on point. The gunplay is also awesome. That being said:

the puzzles SUCK

the Forde area is so unfun I almost uninstalled. if the whole game was full of content like the server room and the nuclear reactor, it'd be 10/10.

game is a lot of fun. more arcadey shooting compared to other extraction shooters. guns feel good and the maps are fun. space combat needs some work.
