This game has something really special going on. The final moments of the Area 12 raid are some of the most intense and exciting I've had in a video game. The lore (being based around an excellent article) is on point. The gunplay is also awesome. That being said:

the puzzles SUCK

the Forde area is so unfun I almost uninstalled. if the whole game was full of content like the server room and the nuclear reactor, it'd be 10/10.

editing my review. the game is in a tough spot. it's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun with good gunplay but the dev team is completely silent, the player count is in the low hundreds daily. you can still get a match and it's good fun but it's hurting for content right now.

meme game, but unironically great

holy HELL this game is good

like GOOD GOOD, doom 2016 with more movement and abilities good. level design is amazing. bosses are so much fun to fight. sound design and graphics are A1.

review at launch: negative, really ♥♥♥♥♥ boring, doesn't run well

12/9/21: this game is pretty good now. needs more endgame content but someone described it as a fallout animal crossing and i can agree with that. lots of neat little stuff to do, better story now, factions and NPCs. it's pretty solid.

A lot of fun! For 5.99.

Until they get more content, not worth $25.

Played this to death on the PS Vita, and that was a long time ago. Afterbirth adds a ton more replayability to the best dungeon roguelike around.

This game is borderline perfect. Ridiculous amount of content, solid gameplay, excellent story- if you want it, this game has it.

It's a cutesie little spinoff. Don't expect a ton of content but it's well done for what it is.

team fortress 2 is one of the best games ever made. and the company behind it, a multi-billion dollar developer, is letting it rot. one of the most influential pieces of media in our time, and it's dying because of a few ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ basement dwellers.
