Phasmophobia is like a terrifying horror movie where you’re the star – except instead of holding popcorn, you’re clutching a ghost detector and praying you don’t die from laughter or fear. This game completely won me over!

You start as amateur ghost hunters (read: a bunch of friends who think they’re Ghostbusters), but you quickly learn that ghosts aren’t just puffed-up clouds of mist. They’re sneaky, clever, and sometimes downright grumpy. And when the lights start flickering in the basement, and you hear eerie whispers? That’s when you realize screaming “RUN!” into your mic is a perfectly natural reflex.

The graphics are fantastic – dark, realistic, and spooky enough to make you rethink visiting old houses. The sound design is masterful. Every creak, hiss, and whisper will have you double-checking for ghosts under your chair. And the best part? Teamwork! There’s always someone who heroically stays in the van to “monitor the situation” while the rest risk their lives. (Yes, I’m talking about myself.)

And the humor? This experience is pure gold when your friend accidentally calls the ghost by the wrong name or hides in a closet, forgetting their mic transmits every nervous breath.
