I like the rain animation on the login screen.

With servers becoming stable, I can highly recommend trying out this F2P MMORPG.
I'd say one of the fairest monetization strategies coming from korean developers.

It's semi-hard to get into, and I would recommend looking at a build guide first - for a good first experience.

I'd recommend the game if you like an action shooter with some weapon/gear progression.

Clearly there is no plan to improve the issues the PC have been facing for a while. The new push to consoles confirms this.

A lot of shenanigans going on with the balancing and game publishing, that I do not approve of.

Found out that you can't even unlock your fps without going fullscreen mode.
Wait till you hear this.. when you want to do something on your other monitor, then your fullscreen mode gets disabled and you get a popup in-game.

How infuriating is that? What if I want to change a song I'm listening to in the middle of a gaming session?

That is ridiculous if they can't figure out how to unlock fps in windowed mode with all the money and resources they have, also on my first playthrough my character ended up clipping under the map on tutorial zone, then I ended up having to teleport halfway across the map to a safezone and wasn't able to return back.

This game lacks even a base-level of polishing, it becomes apparent very quickly.

Played this game through 5th time now.
I'd recommend trying it out, especially if you haven't played since P4G or P5.
This is a classic JRPG with a twist.

I'm only 28 hours in.
The experience for sure differs from the usual souls games.
Progression in the game isn't as 'clear' as it has been before.
There is no 'correct' way or order to do things (in most cases).

I've sadly been quite the heavy user of guides, which can end up taking away the open-world and adventure aspects away. Even so, I'd recommend it (even if you prefer playing with guides).

SG has taken some feedback from the playerbase, but sadly the core problems they themselves have introduced are not going to be changed, which is a shame.

The game was quite good and enjoyable around the first few months to the half a year, when the players weren't completely eroded by the 'daily' tasks and other anti-consumer mechanics.

Anything and everything in this game is made slower, only for you to be able to speed the process up for some money, which I deeply dislike.

I would have more faith in the game, if they were to actually re-design their monetization strategy to go with the cosmetics route, which they are really good at producing - but doubt the business cogs at Smilegate will ever do that, as they want to monetize everything.

Do I recommend you to play this game?

Depends on your goals, but if you want to clear all the raids without spending money - then my answer would be no, as you would be forced to make this game your second job.
